I think most of us are in agreement it could be a fun miner. Just all depends on the price.
Even though it is a mini, I have to be able to justify it in ROI math. So guess we will see as time goes on.

Roi always tough nut to crack. But I did not think my 4 s-3's would be earning money 1 year later. My batch 1 in my low power spot are still good to go. I thought network would be over 100 in diff by now and it is only at 51.

If I put in the price and it shows a year or something with no difficulty increase then it is a no for me personally. If I see chance of ROI yes I do normally take a risk as I enjoy mining. That is one thing about small miners in past a lot of time you pay more per hash then getting a bigger miner with more power. A lot of time smaller hashing units were hard to justify. Just a lot of parts for less chips in some cases.

For me, it should be a good device to initiate some friend to bitcoin. Probably cheaper than a Antminer SX and more simple. A small device for everyone!

I'm in notlist3d's camp. Interested, but it has to make sense from an ROI perspective.
Right now there just isn't enough info. But once the price and and other details are clear, hopefully it will make sense, because they look like fun.

I'm interested. Following this thread before I decide to pull the trigger. I'll be lurking around.

Fun helps. Quiet will help. It could be an office miner. And no will notice it as it will be quiet small and draw under 35 watts.

While not strictly on topic, the fraction of a thread exposes something about Bitcoin that I had never thought of before. We all get so wrapped up in "securing the network", and a "51% attack", and "too much centralization", we may have lost sight of the bigger picture.
Maybe the biggest threat is actually making peoples Bitcoin unavailable by impairing the ability to process transactions and use their "money". Even if my wallet is "safe", if I can't freely send and receive Bitcoin, that would really make Bitcoin a much less useful currency wouldn't it?
Sounds kinda like when the villain in the James Bond movie 'Goldfinger' was going render the gold at Fort Knox unusable by exploding a nuclear device. The USA was almost certainly still on the "Gold Standard" at the time, so it might have made sense.

Yeah DDOS would force private closed pool's which surely lead to fucked up shit happening. Back to the thread no news today. This is to be expected as I was told late July for the demo/review piece.

I am very interested. I will probably buy several, exact amount is price dependent of course. If these are at all on par with the 4.1 I'll probably get several.

No nothing yet. Hopefully next week as I was told late July for the review model and Mid august for sales. At least there has not been word of delays so that is one good thing.

Actually, I think the engineer's response is:

The site isn't loading for me, what's the expected hash/power draw?
Depending on price I may be down for a few myself.
Edit, got the site to load. It all depends on the price.
