I have the OCZ 1250w PSU (there's only 1 so it shouldn't be hard to look up) and there are no molex connectors.

Use the IDE/SATA ports, hook up the regular everyday molex connectors, then get an adapter like this one. You can probably find that adapter cheaper, but it's dead common and shouldn't be a problem to lay your hands on.

That adapter doesn't work for these sockets.

Hook up your modular SATA cables then connect this to the end

Someone else told me the amps are different and will mess up the cards... was that bogus? I'm clueless.

you have 6 pci-e , you want more? each 8pin PCI-e "can" run a single card. Over at fleabay you might find something like this, not EXACTLY correct but you get the idea.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Athena-Power-16-Inch-PCI-Express-6-pin-Dual-8-pin-Linear-Extension-EPCIE1628-/350577812540?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D2259177951953913936%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D350577812540%26

this is a 6 pin to dual 6+2pin, you need an 8 to dual 6+2pin

or to go your route,
