Each one of these transactions is 44000 bitcoins. Went for more than 20 minutes. Any speculation on this?  Smiley

Good shot!

Well, some possible explanations for the serial transactions:

1. Automated laundry system shuffling the funds in the network.
2. Distribution of funds to arbitrage in various exchange platforms.
3. Silk Road or Mt.Gox enterprise readjusting the Bitcoin wallet storage.
4. Satoshi playing around with us.  Grin

This is part of the high volume of outputs which I documented last night:

If you are referring to my post, the first chart was made in the Microsoft Excel using the data published.

If you are referring to the OP's screenshot, it come from the http://www.bitcoinmonitor.com/ Internet page.

I suspect that's the change for SR withdrawals. I made a withdrawal last night from SR, of 0.6 BTC to 1BYhyPtxbnU59NDahJ7DVd8RnwNH1V5D1N, and the change was some 45.3k BTC.
