Hello!
I really need some help... I have been mining bytecoin and send some to HitBTC exchange. However I still haven't got them in my HitBTC account.
I have the transaction complete from my end (wallet) but I haven't received them.
I tried to contact with the exchange support but got no answer....

Does anybody knows something about HitBTC?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Never used the site actually but try checking their support if they had.

Tell us if they turn out to be scammers to let other users know about them .

Good Luck

I made negative experience using HitBTC on the beginning of my Bitcoin time. My balances were frozen.
I would not use it anymore.

It seems that you are unfamiliar with the current Bytecoin (and other CryptoNotes) deposit process. Unlike Bitcoin, these currencies do not offer multiaddressing feature at the moment (even though, Bytecoin intends to release it in one of the next versions). That is why, when depositing to an exchange you have to provide payment id, which is given to you be the exchange next to the deposit address.

If you have a look at your transaction, there is no payment id field:
https://minergate.com/blockchain/bcn/transaction/f03f72a68b2ac27c4301ab5ecae83f33be22f9bb0f81df348617b033fca73210

Compare it to a random transaction that has a payment id:
https://minergate.com/blockchain/bcn/transaction/c846afa605bc8e14c9c3a5f8034a2bc6469d1dea3f6fc53ec43ed73b8ba60902

If you simply send a tx to an exchange deposit address without payment id it ends up at the exchange's address in general, leaving exchange without any info to identify the payment to your particular account.

I suggest you contact HitBTC and provide them with this transaction so that they can credit the deposited amount manually.

Yes, I think that was the case.... But I don't really know if they can deposit it manually. I already contacted them but had no reply 'till now...

Well. HitBTC seems to work OK! They have solved my issue and deposited my coins to my account.

The exchange seems to be Honest, however there are some technical problems and people are impacient!

Thanks HitBTC for solving my issue!

Beware with what you are doing with ring signature based coins, remember they are not the same as regular Bitcoin based coins, if you send it to the wrong place or input something wrong (usually those coins dont even have proper GUI) you can lose your coins. Monero is great but for example, still lacks a GUI.

I'm glad your issue got solved, but I would still advise from using this site in the future. From the information presented in this thread, it appears you are not one of the first to encounter a problem. There are many other altcoin exchanges out there, try to find a more reputable one.

hitBTC froze my account after I made my first deposit of a measly 0.02 btc.

sent letter, said they put my problem on high priority

no answer after 24 hours.

is this how they treat a new user?

DNT withdrawal @ hitbtc is taking so long. It is over 12 hours now and it is still "You have a Pending Transaction"

Transaction ID e1770303-5766-4c45-b205-50502bf548ee from hitbtc to mercatox

Does it matter it i withdraw directly from hitbtc to mercatox VS hitbtc to myetherwallet then to mercatox?

I just want a fast transaction and fees are fine
