We have low wages here on our country and currently I have no job (currenly a student) but I do have 1 BTC Cheesy I think one reason was laziness Grin
In my opinion, Laziness is not the only factor. It could be because it does not have the ability, for example, there are people who join in this bitcointalk but did not have the knowledge of bitcoin so he could not get anything 😥

Still considered laziness. They can read stuffs regarding to bitcoin and learn about it but some people were too lazy to read and research stuffs about bitcoin Grin

Most people aren't bright enough to understand why Bitcoin is important. I know a lot of hard working people, but they can't be bothered with Bitcoin and just think it's some sort of scam or internet weird thing. Those people can't be saved, so let them do their thing, they will realize their mistake in the future.

I am shocked at how many don't have one btc.

Is it low wages or no job? What is the reason. Please comment if you can.

Thanks

In my case; allergic of taking risks. I could spend my entire savings on 75 BTC but I would probably succumb under the great stress and end up doing stuff like eating bricks and jacking off in public.

its because not everyone would want to convert their income into bitcoin. im also one of those people, although i dont convert my savings into btc. i still keep around 2btc in mywallet incase bitcoin becomes worlds biggest thing and prices go insane. thers a risk involved with it that many arent willing to take

Yeah, I think a majority of people are unwilling to put a lot of their income into bitcoin until the prices get more stable for a long period of time... Majority of everyone like to know their money is safe if their moving their currency into another one, and not have the potential to drop off the face of the world the next day; I know that is very unlikely now and days, but I think that the majority think that this can happen at any point in time.

I have some of my bitcoins tied into alts, but a very low percentage, and to only one alt coin that has the most potential to grow over time... I don't really have time to speculate and trade on sites like poloneix or anything like that, so I just invest a little of my spare change into the alt I think will do the best.

Just curious though, which altcoins do you hold as of right now?

It doesn't have to be all or nothing, in fact that's monumentally stupid. A little taste may turn up a nice surprise a few years down the line.

Please don't do that in public. It's very embarrassing, you'll ruin your teeth.

Yes, keeping some investments into alt coins must be a wise idea to make our bitcoins grow over time. Keeping one full bitcoin must be preferred idea for many people. But we must concentrate on growing our bitcoins over time.

I do not have 1BTC simply because I am still new in crypto currencies. I have heard bitcoin before but it is just recently that it catched my attention. I really regret that I did not focus on it earlier when the exchange rate was really high. But I am still fortunate because currently the price of bitcoin is going up. I hope it won't reverse its track when I finally earn my first BTC.

Just out of curiosity, do you only mean BTC earned via methods other than purchase? If that's the case, I can understand why so many people have less than 1 BTC.

PS: yes, I have 1 BTC.

Under construction.

I think both.

Yes many here can able to make 1BTC if they will buy it now with their fiat currency but of course others preferred to have 1BTC thru bitcoin earning method like the way I used to when Im starting in bitcoin world. Im really glad that Im able to have more than 1BTC without buying it in my fiat and Im still new to bitcoin world so it's an achievement lol.

Why did you sell it? We are about to cross 300.... bad move in my opinion. I think people should hold their Bitcoins for 10+ years, of course not everyone is willing to wait that much to sell some, but if you are too impatient you will regret. Wait at least until 2016 Q2 to see where we are at with the halving, everything else is losing money pretty much guaranteed.
