Is there anything new about this coin? Some new features? Or just a CryptoNote fork? What is a need of this coin? Thank you.
Tavos is as of now is a CryptoNote fork. Sooner or later when my programming knowledge grows I'll be applying it on Tavos. Think of it as a market and a financial/programming learning experience. I'm still looking around Tavos' code and try to add some features soon. But yes, again as of now it's just a fork, with a lot of coins, no premine and no IPO. Just a plain old coin for everyone to us and learn from. I WAS supposed to target this to Filipinos as the very name Tavos came from the word centavos, and the domain Tavos.Co is also for Tavos Ko, or in Filipino is "My Cents". I'll continue marketing and developing this coin till everything crypto dies out. |

In other news, difficulty is rising, slow but steady It was 170 000 twenty hours ago, now it is 410 000. Glad to see a number of miners in the network! Still waiting a reply from MinerGate.com and Miner.Center to add us into their mining pools. We're also working on our own Mining Pool. This can make sure that everyone still has a chance in mining. While everyone's waiting, come on and mine solo while you have the chance! |

Not true. It's a different infrastructure. They have to spend time to learn things, or to solve problems. It's not a Bitcoin clone like all the others they have. At Poloniex, they took help from the developer team of Monero to establish their first Cryptonote market back then. |

Let it build a bit of pressure first (If this coin gets popular - people want to buy and the difficulty is high).
Thats important, because else it will get dumped to death and maybe the coin wont even reach the volume requirement after some time.

True, hopefully we get a big enough user-base. When the time is right, I may be casting a poll for the Tavos community. Right now, we're looking to form a small circle of developers and marketers interested in bringing up Tavos from the ground. Interesting. Downloading the wallet for Window from Google Drive.
