after you generate a new address which team starts the wallet?

Both of them, in the same time.
First you open tavosd.exe, let it synchronize with the network, and then open simplewallet.exe.
Type "balance" in simplewallet to see how much you have.
You must type "exit" also if you want to quit. Don't just close the window from the x in the upper right corner.

I started the wallet with this team simplewallet --generate-new-wallet=wallet_***.bin  --pass=****

how do I restart the wallet with the same address

found simplewallet --wallet-file=wallet_***.bin

Had a quick question, the tavos application has been stuck at
[SRV_MAIN]Run net_service loop<10 threads>... for the past 20mins.

Is there an issue, i dont see any Syn with the network command. (havent been able to update my wallet for the past 4 days)

Go to %appdata% > Roaming

Delete Tavos
Save your wallet.bin if ever you stored it there.

Reload the wallet and see if it syncs (Emerges idea), and it worked for me.
