What a beautiful day and someone wants to destroy it.

I bought today an account from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=426160 (now it is mine)
Seller skype: vaporswc

I have signed message:

-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
I am Prasmatic and this account is sold to SmartIphone and today is 17.07.2015
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

To verify click here : https://goo.gl/pHYuQl

Tx id: https://blockchain.info/tx/2c1a1e3060d81eaa1d9fa8dbc4bc2dc37e00af5f0459056cb10d73a9380b9b19

I have all logs in skype which i can send to admin or moderator

He is saying: "pay 0.015 or im gonna get it back"

My question is: since he signed a message for me that it is sold to me am i safe?  i know that the signed message is for this purpose.

IF you have the control over the account now then you shouldn't worry since you have the signed message as proof that the account is sold. Only mistake you did is you publicly posted the signed message for the account, some users can claim the account and use the signed message to get it

yes, reason why messages are signed during buy/sell process is exactly this one. so no worries, once he will recover it, just let admins know all the details and they will give it back to you.

anyway, is not smart generally buy/sell accounts, you had to do your own instead of this deals..especially for low cost few months old account like this one.

for sure.

even those smalls fast steps may speed up recovery process, if original seller will somehow decide to act as scammer. also post and sign your BTC address somewhere (here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.0) and check history off all posts done before and remove, what is not suitable for you or potentially harm you in future.

anyway, as I mentioned, I really dunno what motivated you to buy such useless new acc, even for small portion of btc..

Set up security questions, strong password, and don't click on any links he give you.
Post your address in the stake your address thread so if he gets it back, you can just email theymos and sign a message with the address you posted there.
Also, hes trying to scam your account for a couple dollars? Doesn't make sense to me.

you should have done the trade on bitcointalk to have the record for the future for easy access
i guess this was the thread right? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1126305.msg11900166#msg11900166

but i guess as long as two bitcoin addresses are known:
1. the address of seller which he asked for the fund
2. your address that you have sent from.

you can easily prove that you have sent him the asked amount with the tx id and a signed message

Thats not possible since the buyers name is mentioned in the message at least.

Why didnt you use the escrow address i sent you? You took a risk and i dont see why you sent him directly when you already had a escrow deal set up. Did he say you shouldnt use escrow?

Anyway... if you control the account and you can show that you bought it, then you should be fine.

Normally you should not post bought accounts publicly. If your account would have green trust then you would have the risk of being rated negative because you did not earn that trust.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I know it is too late, but there are some excellent escrows here on bct.  I have personally used Quickseller and Dev, both were great.  Quickseller, as his name suggests, was faster, but I think it is because Dev has a lot of escrows to handle, like campaign accounts, but this is not a bad thing it means that people trust him with big money.

well i more or less expected something like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1126305.msg11901175#msg11901175
apparently the original owner admitted he was going to try and attempt some sort of scam after having already sold the account.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

I don't plan to have it until it get in default trust. Even though i set up the escrow but that was for anotherthing.
He was in hurry to sell, i was i hurry to buy, i offered him to use escrow but he didnt wanted so he went first and everything is good.
I know the escrow list.
I left that thread open to clarify everything so locked now and this.
Thanks guys for support. Smiley
