This is a fake post designed to turn the Litecoin community and the Monero community against one another.

Nice try DASH. Scraping the barrel a bit aren't we?

Started looking into Monero when their was a push for it in the media 3 months ago. Same time when I started to accumulate litecoin via faucets. I had harder time to find ways to make Monero, only way a beginner can get them is buying them, from what I found after only 1 hour of researching into to ways for obtaining them. I did not proceed any further into looking for ways to earn them by website work or claiming by faucets.
It seems it is only for the ones who are on the exchanges to get these in larger volumes.
I have not looked in to them further 3 months later.
Litecoin is more accessible and easier for the new people looking the entrance into the world of alternate coin.

The litecoin community will never turn against the Monero community, simply because they don't care a rats ass about Monero.. The litecoiners are actually thinking people that don't care about this type of shit.

Maybe.

Litecoin is dying, with some luck Monero still will be in the CTI breathing with mechanical help when LTC dies, so Monero will "defeat" LTC

Looking at the other coins based on CryptoNote, I see a few that are more innovative than Monero.

The answear to the question will Monero beat Litecoin the answear comes down to the line of which coin will have the communities of richer members.
Rich members can afford to buy the supply + extra from the early adopters selling according to SSS (do not confuse with SS in Worrld War 2).

The next LTC pump is going to dwarf the previous one. XMR will still be steady at 250k sats which is respectable.

Beat in what? monero has different priorities (such as super stealthy payments) than litecoin and other similar coins, thus may suit people who dont like their transactions being publicly available. With litecoin, if someone can link your real name with your transaction address(es), then they can check how much litecoins you have on that address(es), where did you get it from, and where did litcoines on these addresses came from, etc. Some may not like such possibility, thus they may choose something that is designed from scratch to protect their privacy, rather than making it public and making it protected only by an assumption that no one can link a given address with an owners name.
