Many were skeptical of "bitcoins" which sounds like the coins Mario would get in Super Mario World. It's is suitable for a reserve currency name. It is the exact translation for 'coin' in esparanto. It is for me one of the few reasons to hold a very small speculative gamble amount of those tokens. But in the end I also think they will be rendered worthless. I'm a holder without belief. |

One of the things I don't like about Bitcoin is the name itself. Although a wonderful idea, a catchy name could make it go stratospheric, where as I think that how it is now it will become a back water name for something more sexy in the future.
How many people ask you on a daily basis for your TCP/IP detail? It just doesn't have the pull, even though it is foundational in much of electronic life.

Don't be that guy. Yes. Acceleration is just around the corner. You can kick me in the nuts for bringing this up in your thread but I'm of the mind that litecoin is on a move of its own again. Got a nice stake set up there as well. So, for the folks that are feeling the panic at this point or in the near future and don't have the fundage to get nasty on bitcoin, litecoin is a way where you can scoop plenty of them and then redeem them back for bitcoin, much more of it, as it makes a moon of its own. |
