Update
Ok, our main dev, EBK1000 is very busy with his main project.
Right now he doesn't have the time to work on the NTRN coin, later on he will.
That leaves us with two options:
1. I have a few contacts willing to fork the coin for us, compiling the new wallets (with new logo's).
--> That's enough for a succesfull takeover, since we are in control of the coin then.
Later on, we can finetune NTRN's code.
2. I have a contact able to build a whole new coin for us.
--> NTRN holders would be able to swap their coins for the new coin through escrow.
All remaining, unswapped coins would be destroyed.
Option 2 would mean we're left without active exchanges for our coin, and we would need to contact them in order to get them on their exchange...
Feel free to comment...
Also, although I know the NTRN community is rather small, I would appreciate if more people got involved.
I'm doing this because I think it's unfair what happened to the NTRN investors, but it seems most of you don't seem care that much as I thought after all...

Thanks for the update. I think option 1 is the safest course of action right now. The coin is more than capable of continuing on as it is with a simple re-branding. I dont see the point in creating a brand new coin, having to start all over again, muck around with escrow swapping, relisting on exchanges. As you mentioned, the fine tuning can come later when the main dev can commit to development work. The wallet works and stakes like a champion, I don't see masternode enforcement as a critical issue that needs to be rectified instantly. Others may disagree however. (CraveIt flog not counted) What sort of community involvement are you looking for exactly, anything specific in mind? |

What sort of community involvement are you looking for exactly, anything specific in mind?
1. More core-team members --> Coders (c++, html, CSS3,...) --> Graphic designers --> Native English writers --> ... 2. Community donations --> I didn't care to pay for the new logo's and to make a 25K donation to the community wallet, but we will need funds for future development. I will also set up a BTC community wallet for that purpose. 3. More followers and retweets on the social media... 4. ... Regards Goldmaxx |
