Antminer S3, S3+ identifiacation.

Have just received an S3 from an ebay purchase. After the usual setup everything is running fine. But.... it was advertised as an S3+ but is running the original release firmware from 11-Jul-14. There are no identifying marks I can see. Is there a way of telling if it's an S3 or an S3+? If it is an S3 do you think I should keep or return it?

S3+ has a plus on the identification sticker. You could return it, but if you got a good deal it might be better to take your lumps.

Thanks, there is no sticker, is there any other way of knowing? In terms of returning it I have contracted the seller to see what he says, also will be influenced by an overnight run.

Correction, have checked again and the main sticker over the exhaust fan says S3. Bit too obvious for me.

Yes on the main sticker it says S3, S3+, or S3++.   So you can tell all of this at a glance

Makes it easier them having to run them to see.

Yeah, it's hidden in plain sight. 

If you got a good deal though, just keep it and let that sucker run. Both are good miners.
