Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Yes it definitely needs big whales but once somebody has enough BTC in his hands he can take nice profits Let's take the newest Wealth market.
With 20BTC the price is already 4000% higher than the price where you bought most of your coins. From that point you only need to keep the market going with a few buys and others will be taking part too
Not saying that with 1-2 BTC more you can easily pump the price till any height and from there you just sit and watch money flowing in
