About 1 hour if your client adds the 0.01 transaction fee that allows for quick (1 hour) transfers I think.

MtGox requires 6 confirmations.  This should happen in about an hour if your transactions gets into the next block after you spend it.  If you sent it without a fee, it will likely take longer.  You will not see it on MtGox until it has 6 confirmations.  You can check http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/ to be sure the transaction is listed as received by the network.

As we slide down the banister of life, this is just another splinter in our ass.

Not sure if you are aware of this, the btc balance wont update if you dont logout/login.

Are you simply refreshing your balance?

I logged out and back in still no luck. I found my transaction on that page, it came up with the following:

2011-06-02 14:53:50 1fb9f966d78ff5dc151be0c1445c305821a48e392d44083d612594b15191d894
size: 258 bytes
priority: 605,348,837
input: 4.11000000 BTC
4.11000000 BTC from b49cf39f104a25f441820678fdd9c03a07eb6d11e5f6469cbc49684d4c8e485a:1 (171LeetP814EsyRHrcnP6nydPfDx6JeNpb)
output: 4.11000000 BTC
0.11000000 BTC to 1BkJRz8E1VkWasLA5d1Dov7oZNCFQGif6A
4.00000000 BTC to 1KSnJddKZ8g3EoEyhVt2aVFAwVZ9nu94oy

Now I have 2 questions, its saying I input 4.11 BTC when I actually only input 4.00 BTC so where has the extra .11 come from, and if its a fee surely it shoudl come out of the 4 BTC. and secondly, what does this mean for me? I have to sit here patiently waiting forever for mtgox to receive it?
