How did you first hear about bitcoin?

I actually heard about Bitcoin some years back but I was not even moved by what I was seeing as I basically see something about it on another forum in the investment section making it seems its a quick way to get rich and considering what I have heard before in the case of Liberty reserve, I didnt bother considering it until when I had free time and access to the internet, then I started understanding it little by little at my own pace...

Same with me.. When i first heard about it on internet i did not really bother using it much... though i started using faucets at first but later on i got bored of doing that and left using it and i came back again after sometime and started using it and then i did not give up and from that day till now i'm using it...

because faucet very easy to use but this is would bored
but faucet is one thing to know bitcoin , and many users know bitcoin from bitcoin

Wow, really something that makes a lot of profit for you. Because you know your bitcoin then everything will change your life for the better, because in the bitcoin can we do anything without any fee and we no longer need to exchange money when travelling outside the country, because of the bitcoin can be used anywhere and can be exchanged for currencies around the world. In social media, there are a lot of HYIP affiliates who are spamming, I also hear it there but my first usage of bitcoin is on gambling. I was a victim of scam investment when I was new and happy to learn from mistakes of the past.

Wow. You saw it on the TV. I have never even seen anything related to Bitcoin where I live. I first heard about Bitcoin in 2015 when a couple of my friends were earning money through Bitcoin. I started and really liked it.

I first heard about Bitcoin on some site that was accepting Bitcoin as payment for steam games (before Steam was accepting). I was not realy interested and I didn't have any idea what Bitcoin is, so I did not even look on google or something. About a year or two later I saw a Bitcoin faucet and remembered that I saw it on the site, then I joined this place and started earning Bitcoins.

yes in start i was also in search of online job and then i heard about bitcoin from a  friend, i really found it interested and start learning it, i think it take about one month  to learn about bitcoin and specially about bitcointalk and now i am here.

I found Bitcoin just by accident . One day I was searching about some computer software to buy But in that during search I found a site at which every software was available but the payment was in doller and Bitcoin .
I don't understand about Bitcoin and secondly to make deals in doller was much costly ( INR to doller transaction charge ).
So I made search about Bitcoin and finally I found millions of people are in Bitcoin and many of them are millionaire because of Bitcoin earning .

Back in 2009/2010 there was a yahoo article about bitcoin. They said something about mining using a computer. I was like wtf is this? It is like a World or Warcraft gold farming/mining just without the game. Sounds dumb.

The first time I heard of bitcoin was in 2010, when the price was not so expensive, can search the domestic news rarely, only through the information science geek friends. At that time in the head with a bunch of strong P2P mint, anonymous accounts, encryption algorithm, electronic currency and a bunch of concepts in yunliwuli think this stuff is so cool.

I first read about bitcoin from the articles my facebook friend sent me,from them on there's no looking back for me ,I stumble this forum,because it always cameo ut first from ally queries about facebook,when I joined this forum,this is where I discover a lot about Bitcoin and crypto currency.

I first heard about Bitcoin back in 2013, and then at some point I decided to get into it a bit more heavily, and I think it has been something close to a year since I started to get a bit more involved with everything.

Right now it's looking up, I'm getting involved, and my personal life is helping for me to have more time to contribute to the community. Feels kind of good.

This is my fifth year using bitcoin now. I heard about it at around 2011 however didn't act on it at all, lots of tutorials at that time about how you can mine coins on your laptop and potentially get a reward for a block. I thought that it was just another scam.

Only got into it at around 2013 when it actually took off to the moon. Some things you just have to regret forever.
