That explorer really looks like a good choice. Remains the costs, PMing fairglu about it. How many Axiom are currently available? 1,647,964?
Hard to tell without a block explorer with PoW and PoS paying different rewards. Looking at the reward table the coin supply should be somewhere between 3.5 and 4 million coins. All you have to do is go into the debug console of the wallet and type getinfo. It will tell you the current money supply. Thanks, should have known already or at least thought of it. Well, seems I can't learn everything at once. So 3741605 coins, seems I could have been less vague with my guess without being far off.

OK, so it's 100$ per year or 55$ for 6 months in BTC. Can't afford that and it's about 10 times my little purse of Axiom. Still, if we're getting a pool going I'm offering 5$ or 0.025BTC out of curiosity where this is headed.

Still, if we're getting a pool going I'm offering 5$ or 0.025BTC out of curiosity where this is headed. my suggestion is simple ... unless you are going to actually get something out of the investment you are willing to make with axion - dont bother ... if there is no development or forward progress being done - and there is no takeover or movement with the coin - then why bother ... unless you are the one doing the takeover - in which respect - much more than a be is required for that ... #crysx

Exactly. Would be nice though if Axiomcurrency would officially admit they failed this coin and give a go for take over but basically it's just a question of majority, just not polite and with the potential to hurt a coin more than doing it good. Although a take over needs the ability to make changes to the coin to develop it further, PR can only take you so far unless there's a (useful) shop actually accepting it as currency or another purpose like with DCR or SandG behind it. unless you are going to actually get something out of the investment you are willing to make with axion - dont bother ...
I don't expect to get a profit out of this, for me I hope to learn something (more) about Crypto, what forces drive a coin and what's needed to make a coin successful. That explorer really looks like a good choice. Remains the costs, PMing fairglu about it.

If it's cost I want to throw in cruncks CoinAID one. I think it's a standard Iquidus explorer. It's 200,000 CAID/month, with current CAID prices of arount 3-4 satoshis that translates to a yearly price of 0.072-0.096 BTC with the advantage of monthly orders if things don't work as hoped.

gen=0 means do not generate ... gen=1 means generate ... so change that first of all ... the rest of the .conf file is missing also ... but i am unsure what they are for axiom ... for granite - the .conf file would look something like this ( courtesy of zthewolfz ) ... granitecoin.conf server=1 daemon=1 defaultkey=1 logtimestamps=1 dns=1 rpcuser=TheWolf rpcpassword=x rpcport=21778 port=21777 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 rpcallowip=192.168.*.* edit - my apologies ... disregard that ... i misread the post ... you need active nodes - not solomining ... i dont have access to any at the moment ... think i need sleep ... #crysx

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a "hive hacker"? I was about to ask the same question Hive coin wallet with trojan or other shit inside https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1194096.140BTW. Lately there were also some user in a few coins topics quoting some posts with wallets/software links and then replacing hiperlinks with his own with infected wallets.
