Not till today.. 99.99% of people of my country haven't even heard of Bitcoin and i have never met the rest 0.01% :3
And yes Bitcoin is "illegal" in our country :3
Where's that?

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

As a bitcoiner, using BTC online is very common.  Have you ever used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods?  plz share your experience.   Wink

Money is real online just as much as it is face-to-face.

Cool story, I'm glad bitcoin provided another example of convenience for all of us to share.

Yes, especially when the time we forget carrying real paper money.

So I didn't use bitcoins to buy any physical goods but used to buy few real online services or products. It is because in most of the countries BTC is not fully popular as of now.

I bought my family brunch a few years ago when BTC was <100$. there was only one place in my town that accepted it then... it was more about the novelty, and to connect with the restaurant owner over our shred interest in crypto.

it was a real good cafe, closed now unfortunately, but really good food. Brunch was delicious but it cost me about 0.86 BTC which would have been ~ 50$ including tip...but now, in today's price ~$240 not quite the million dollar pizza but still pretty steep. I hope dude managed to hang onto them!

there are a few other shops accepting btc in town here now, but I'm just hoarding for now... when BTC hits 10000$ ill take the fam on a vacation. I want more buying power for my bits!

Most of the times I've used my bitcoins to buy items, it's usually via the web. A few websites in the UK, do accept Bitcoin, mostly electronics is my preference over the years. I can't say I've done many exchanges in person, as that pretty much applies to if I did it via, Card, Cash or Bitcoin. I work from home and I prefer it that way, for health reasons.
However it's far easier in the UK atleast for me, to find a place to pay online, than to pay in a physical store. To be fair, that wasn't much different when My Wife and I went to SF (USA), it surprised me, how few places did accept Bitcoin, it was mostly Chinese take aways (which btw was very nice).

I’m using it for more than a year to bye hosting services and domains, skype, amazone and other vauchers, to top up my phone, pay salaries to my workers, etc… actually, a don’t remember when I used CC to bye something. But it’s all online. There are almost no offline locations that accept it where I am… unfortunately 8-)

It was my mum's birthday yesterday. And I wanted to buy a birthday cake for her, but when I reached the bread shop, I realized I forgot carrying my wallet and I had only a few bucks in my pocket.  I tried to talk to the boss of the shop if I can pay by bitcoin, to my surprise, she said YES and finally I paid the cake by bitcoin.  Grin

This is my first time to use BTC as real money buying a real physical goods.
