It was my mum's birthday yesterday. And I wanted to buy a birthday cake for her, but when I reached the bread shop, I realized I forgot carrying my wallet and I had only a few bucks in my pocket.  I tried to talk to the boss of the shop if I can pay by bitcoin, to my surprise, she said YES and finally I paid the cake by bitcoin.  Grin

This is my first time to use BTC as real money buying a real physical goods.

As a bitcoiner, using BTC online is very common.  Have you ever used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods?  plz share your experience.   Wink

i'm very curious about the full story, how bitcoin transaction methods do you do?
then, if a lot of other stores around you that accept payment via bitcoin? please let me know what methods they use, maybe someday it will be useful if I want to open a store and receive payments via bitcoin Smiley

I haven't used bitcoin yet, for now I'm just saving up my bitcoin. I don't feel the need to use bitcoin right now.
I would rather just save it up for now and get us much as I can.
Yes I also save bitcoin for my savings.

I prefer it because it is very useful in the future

At least in my city there is no store that accepts bitcoins as the payment.
I would be happy if there will be one but it isn't, i need a good (i)phone and a good laptop but its hard to spend the bitcoins.
Even though there are some opportunities to use the bitcoin through the bitcoin debit cards but the fees are a bit high

There is an app called zebpay through which you can exchange your bitcoin for vouchers and gift cards of amazon and then you can buy anything stuff which would be available to be delivered on your zip code. I recently bought a bread toaster and it is awesome Wink

I have only used Bitcoin as real money once when I went to an electronics store and surprisingly it had a Bitcoin Accepted Here badge on its front door. It was then that I payed with Bitcoins to buy a Sony Cybershot WX220 camera. I was surprised to see that the store accepted Bitcoin since there are not many stores that do so out here in my country. It is a good thing to see Bitcoin being adopted slowly in it.  Smiley

To be honest I never used my bitcoin  to buy Real/physical goods since it still impossible using bitcoin as payment tool in my region. I just waiting the day when bitcoin adopted as the payment option.

Dude already bitcoin is one type of payment option for online purchases. Just find right websites to use bitcoin as payment option. Like amazon, eBay or cheapair to utilise your bitcoin.

Soda? From what store? That is awesome, I would really want to try that. It is always exchanging my bitcoin first before I can use it. It is due to lack of stores accepting bitcoin in our country.

OG Bitcoin Miner turned Proof of Stake Validator.
Maxed out Raspberry Pi 4 8GB at 120$ a Day Revenue with ~15K XTZ Bonds in Summer of 2021.
Looking at Proof of Stake systems all across the crypto ecosystem to expand operations.

Wow, you are really lucky. Never in my life did I hear someone buying stuff in person with bitcoins  Cheesy Cheesy

I have experience that kind of thing, where you will trade to a friend. But this have to be the same bitcoin user. To those who doesnt know or doesnt even care about bitcoin this is really impossible. That will give him just a big question mark above his head.
