I have used Bitcoins to buy foods from it. The Bitcoins is a real money to me because the local money which I am getting after selling the digital Bitcoins to the buyers is real. I always feel like the amount of money which is in hand is got transfered through Bitcoins only.

It was my mum's birthday yesterday. And I wanted to buy a birthday cake for her, but when I reached the bread shop, I realized I forgot carrying my wallet and I had only a few bucks in my pocket. I tried to talk to the boss of the shop if I can pay by bitcoin, to my surprise, she said YES and finally I paid the cake by bitcoin. This is my first time to use BTC as real money buying a real physical goods. As a bitcoiner, using BTC online is very common. Have you ever used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? plz share your experience. Until now not, but i will buy maybe something with bitcoins in upcoming months, tried many times here but unsuccessfully the sellers weren't honest.

Yeah, even I don't have any physical shops that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment, I convert my bitcoins to local currency and then make purchases, I feel that I am buying it by using bitcoins, as the fiat that I am using to make purchases has been received by selling my bitcoins, no doubt I haven't used bitcoin directly yet to purchase any physical goods.

Seems like it is realy hard to use it directly here in our place. Thank God it is easy to change it to fiat. When you got nothing you can use it as your sub money.
I just changed it now to fiat for buying my girl some stuff.

Do you know there is a drink called coffee? I basically forced a friend to start using Bitcoin to pay my coffee in Satoshis!
he was skeptical but now he trusts the whole thing... and he sells coffee to me.
That's all good!
Paying btc to buy a coffee is really cool. Not just coffee. It is everywhere now. Some of the travel agencies and bus operators started using bitcoin as payment gateway now, so it is in near future when we use it for other regular things too.

I used bitcoin quite often, from paying my internet to paying my furnitures at overstock.com. It is great. But with value increasing in bitcoin, I guess I will need to preserve some of my bitcoins and hold it like the gold

it has been in more than ten different local businesses here for at least two years, they are working out the kinks, but there is no denying that many people missed the boat over the past 5 years.

Use Coinbase Account almosanywhere with Shift card

I would use BTC more at newegg but I'm close to the willcall location. But to use willcall you must pay by Credit card. that have to show the physical card at the willcall desd. I could use my shift card but it's all billed as USD the BTC is not shown.
Need to send them an email and see it they can accept make a qr code on the packlist of signed msg that only the holder of the paying address used can verify.
so I go make an online order for a willcall pickup. when I get there I scan the code and give them the result proving I own the address that paid for the order

because there is still no store accepting bitcoin in my country, so I need to pay extra shipment fee if I want to buy the things from internet, and because of this the items become more expensive, so for now buying things online is not really an effective option for me

No. Never used bitcoin as payment instrument. Only cashed out some mBtc and then paid with it. I know there is sites that accept bitcoin as payment directly, but I have never used any.

I don’t know if you consider using a bitcoin debit card a way of buying real physical things with bitcoin , but I have searched ages and ages for places where I could find something good to buy with bitcoin and the only thing I found are expensive machines for mining and video games, bitcoin debit cards were my only option and these take a lot of money to get.

Unfortunately there is not much to do, it will improve over time with more adoption from the general public then as adoption grows business will try to be more flexible and start accepting bitcoin, is a slow process but is happening.

Last year i did buy a phone using bitcoin as a payment method. It is a PTP transaction, the seller knows bitcoin that's why i choose bitcoin to be our payment method. So far our deal is fast and smooth, without any doubts that the phone is broken or just an imitation of that phone. BTW the phone i bought is IPhone 4s, it is cheap at that time. No wonder many people buy phones from him.

We miss BitMint.. There's also crypto-thrift and stuff like that I'm on the same page with you guys I just traded my BTC for FIAT when I need to buy something I saw a coffee shop that accepts bitcoins in Prague, and when I was there, I really wanted to visit it, but as it was a school visit, I never found the time However, you always need more friends who are into bitcoin, then you'll be able to buy stuff with bitcoin from them and get bitcoins when you sell stuff to them

Maybe in the future I ask stores owner if he/she use bitcoin too , if they don't at least I can tell/explain about bitcoin. Well, I've planning to open my stores which accepted bitcoin too, so if there is no any, mine will be the first one.
