The term "Free" in this case can be also investing your time but not investing your money.
Personally i get "free" bitcoins by trading alt coins or directly trading bitcoins in different exchanges.
Another way of these "free" bitcoins are by signature campaign but it takes time and skills.

but im never get win, dice is wasting your time, better do faucet and withdraw it every week than you gambling

i'm not entirely sure, but i believe someone is running a bot for posting with Xrunner maybe, and he is earning free btc without even posting

it is against the rule anyway, and the bot is probably repeating post from other forum

as most people are just getting out of the signature campaign, trade and gambling. sometimes of a giveaway as well.

I think making a post on this forum do not need to take much time. You can make some posts in 1-2 hours

You can use faucets as much as you can , but you will need time to make something from it, you can use sig campaigns if your rank in the forum is good, and you can sell your goods or services for Bitcoin, you can also trade if you have enough experience. There is many ways to grow up your Bitcoins

I have earn free bitcoin from the stellar alt coin giveaway.
The price has been changed to much since that batch of giveaway but it was a good chance.
Now a good chance to get free bitcoin is mostly from faucets.

There aren't a lot of Bitcoin giveaway that doesn't sell you ads or have an entry cost. To me thats the only way it can be "free". If you're working faucets or ad campaigns, its not "free" you being remunerated for your work.

In the case of Faucet, a lot of them is just exploiting you to fill captcha or just waste your time, since faucets are there to make money off you, not the other way around.

I looked and it was pretty low on calculator - http://burstcoin.biz/calculator  it was showing like a dollar for 2TB a month.... that seems horrible if that is right.

Is it really dollars a month for multiple TB of space?  I tried on 2 calculators both showed very very low on money mined.

No. There is still another way than mining. Like trying faucet or signature campaign here.

Beside that, i think it's still not profitable mining with HDD. I would rather choose to store my file on HDD rather than use it for mining.
