I don't think bitcoin is the technology that will reshape the future, but the blockchain tech might. It has the potential of completely change the scenario of modern society.

Agree. BTC has some fundamental flaws, that won’t let in become the “best” untill they are solved.

it definitely has the potential to shape the financial sector. bitcoin is open source which makes it perfectly fine to insert changes needed to make it more user friendly and future proof.

Im willing to think that Bitcoin will win in the end, but don't underestimate how dumb the average joe can be. Just look at Apple or Microsoft, they are the leading in Smartphones and PC OS respectively, and they closed source. Meanwhile Linux still lags behind. So open source is not a ultimate indicator of mainstream success, unfortunately.

IMO there will be a same technology like Bitcoin in the future, but it'll be better.
So, I think Bitcoin is not the "Best" (at least for the future).

It's the first decentralized crypto currency ever made, so it's not doubt that it would become the best technology in the world. If there's one thing that needs improvement is the confirmation time of transactions. 5 mins would be okay
