Hello

I launched a new BitCoin gambling site and here are the key facts:

http://www.satoshiseleven.com

- players play against each other
- players throw money into the pot and one of them wins
- chance of winning the pot = pot equity
- two game modes (11 players and 111 players)
- huge pots (i hope Smiley ) and attractive bonuses
- verifiable and fair (blockchain, secret keys and stuff)
- very small rake

please check it out and tell me what you think

regards

While I'm not too much into negative-expectation house games (a little sports betting aside), I'm glad to see an increasing proliferation of gambling options. State regulation stifles the bricks'n'mortar gaming industry; Bitcoin has created, or at least the potential to create, golden new opportunities here.

Not only that but if we can divert money that would otherwise fund the State, we can help shrink the leviathan.

Are there any (flat) fees for betting?

What's the rake/house edge?

the first game Satoshis11 has an EV of -1.5% (1% rake and 0.5% go into the bonus jackpot)

the second game Satoshis111 has an EV that is between  -1% (no bonus bets) and +X% (because the bonus bets from satoshis11 play with only 25% of normal winning chance)

that's strange :/
you can circumvent the dns by going directly to http://193.107.19.87

concerning a question i got by mail (from "Arturo"):
no, the last player does not have an unfair advantage since he can't manipulate his EV
he can (and that's the nerve-stretching part Wink ) manipulate his deviation from the expected value by increasing his chances by riskng more than the others
the ev is always the same!

but i see your point that players do not have much of an incentive to bet early!
to solve this i will make a script that bets every hour or so 0,1BTC to keep the games going

Doubt it.. wouldn't be worth it to buy domain + hosting JUST for a short scam.

It would only cost you $20 if that Wink but it does seem like a lot of effort imho.

Lets wait and see.
