I'm doubtful that 1 bitcoin will be equal to 5 million USD in my lifetime. That is a hell of a lot of money buddy. I'd settle for 1 bitcoin being 5,000 USD to be honest.
What makes you think 5 million USD bitcoin's are realistic within the next 10-20 years. Don't get me wrong, I hope you're right, I'll be cruising on yachts in Monaco, chilling with models, drinking expensive champagne but I doubt it's likely.

There is no way in hell it could reach that amount of cash , there is just no way not even in 2140 (unless it's the price of a Happy meal on that time) . What you are saying make no sense , be realistic man we are struggling to go mainstream and after 6 years from the creation of Bitcoin the price is like ~280 $ so halving block or not , mainstream or not , the 5 million USD won't happen and I don't think someone would agree with you in this at least not without you giving arguments . |

Unless of course U.S. dollar inflation is the reason that 1 BTC=$5m. In that case, $5m may not buy more than a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant. |

5,000 USD is absolute peanuts if we are heading towards being a global decentralized ledger. Math says that demand on such scale must make BTC at least 5 figures, if not 6. Not sure about 5MM but you never know. If you have a double figures BTC wallet I wouldn't comment it to anyone, you don't want to tell people, maybe in 10 years you become a target of chiefs and envious people that didn't invest. |

I was going to say...perhaps that will be the case if the USD goes into hyperinflation and a pair of shoes costs $5 million. Until the volume of transactions is exponentially higher, I don't see the price being pushed up very high. Anyways, making a speculative guess without any rationale FTL. |

Man,...I do feel bored about bitcoin value getting stuck around $300 and hope bitcoin going reach the unexpected value This is very far from today.

I don't think that will happen, not even 10% of $5 million USD or even 1% of $5 million USD.
But that will be great if that happens. BTC is even having a hard time to reach or stay at the $300 USD level.
And my question is why will it even reach that amount $5 million USD per 1 BTC?

In a more likely scenario, you'll be a multi-millionaire for about 2 minutes and yourself not have noticed, and by which time you do, the price will be lower than it is now. This pump were created by number of factors: first there were MtGox bot running at that time which were constantly buying and selling bitcoins. Secondary, chinese market was blooming as restrictions of chinese government at that time were removed. And every chinese bitcoin miner were happy about this. This occurrences caused exceptionally high bitcoin price and I doubt there will be more events like that in the future. |
