From what I think it will be only possible if the whole world economy crashes and there is no alternative then bitcoin, That way we can say 1btc could equal 5 million Dollars but then I guess Internet and bitcoin will become something only elite can access. There is no way there would be equality. Capitalism cant run if there is no inequality someone has to be exploited so that profits could be made its simple as that. It will be hard to imagine everyone is a millionaire in a capitalist society. Unless communism takes over there is no way you could enjoy something like that it my opinion.

Even though I wish this happening, this is too much of money. For this to become reality, Bitcoin would have to be recognized by all the governments and used by half of population worldwide.

If I was to see $10,000 in the next 8-10 years, I would be a happy camper to be honest!

In this forum I see a lot of people sitting in their chairs 'waiting for the moment', doing nothing for BTC's future, only making their own business for enlarge their wallets... That's not the way.

I got 'only' 1 BTC, but if his value goes to 1 million Dolars tomorrow my life will turn completely, beacuse in my country with that money I can buy a very good house and use the rest of the money until my retirement -or that I hope  -.

Our work as BTC owners is speak with people who don't got BTCs and make them very interested in introduce themselves on this currency and make the demand bigger... or what kind of miracle are you waiting? A global economic disaster?

I know lots of people are trading and working to stabilize BTC in a secure zone for your own interests at long term, but I have a question for them: do you prefer never be millionare but got profits every month until BTC falls or be 'a little less' millionare tomorrow making BTC grow?

If for you 1 BTC doesn't make the difference in your future life, you can send me one of them... 'oh, wait, it makes, better I save it'. Don't you see that?

That all is very beautifull, but if we don't move our asses we all be dead when BTC got the value that we were waiting for... or probably never.

talking about inflation is absolutely pointless. When people say bitcoin will be worth x, they mean bitcoin will be worth x in present value. No one has any idea how inflation will be in the future.


That said, I don't think 5 million/coin is very realistic. MAYBE 500k/coin under the most optimistic scenarios, but i wouldn't bet on it.

The market cap on a $5 million coin today would be 72 trillion (5,000,000 * ~14,470,500 = 72,352,500,000,000). The total market cap of gold is only 6 trillion, so putting a price tag of 5 million seems a bit out there.

The OP is completely wrong, 1 bitcoin will be worth trillions of dollars in the future, because a nice meal/happy meal will cost 5 million dollars. It's sad, but that's reality, dollar will be worthless.

Does anyone believe bitcoin is going to fade away, as a different crypto (if it's out already or not) takes its place as the 'standard'?  Who knows if btc will be worth $5 in ten years...

The timing does seem particularly funny that this was posted just before this dump. But don't worry it's just a bear trap to get some shorters in and then help push the price back up when they get liquidated.
