How many bitcoins do you have?

I only have three bitcoins, and I expect bitcoin to rise to the price of ten thousand dollars, and at that price I will sell it and buy land for gardening and become a successful farmer.

Farming is a good business to do if you have the money and support from your family. You are not going to be the only ome that will be involved in the business, family support will be the most valuable when you are doing commercial farming.
The price of Bitcoin will go up but the movement might not be according to your expectations. It can take Bitcoin years to reach the price you are waiting for and your patience will determine how long you can hold your Bitcoin.

It is interesting how perception differs subjectively from user to user.  I could have bet you had at least ten times that amount!

Of course such polls are of questionable value anyway.  Who's more likely to vote at all?  People with more BTC or less?  Or something more in the "middle"?

Funny enough the votes are already at a large number and I think this is one of the highest poll votes I've seen on the forum since my active period and it surprises me that, people have over 10 bitcoin on the forum with me and I'm tempted to ask if there was a time it was airdropped over here because WTF.

Saw the post and trust me, I don't know if I felt motivated or left out but meh I think I have to hustle more and if the poll result are true then I think I need to take these accumulation journey very serious.

You do realize you are quoting someone from 2012 when one Bitcoin was worth a meal, right?

Yeah back in early 2013 I had 20 to 25 btc. Had no idea what was coming.  At the dec 2012 first  1/2 ing coins dropped to 6  dollars.

Many simply thought it would fail.

By nov 2013 they went to 1300

6 to 1300 is huge.

Many people do not realize i had very little income in 2012 and used btc earnings every year from 2012 to 2021 to supplement my life.

I figure I made 400,000 on btc from 2012 to 2026 of which over 200,000 was spent to live on.

If i was bigger and better at hodl I could have made maybe 2 million at most.

But with my lower income from other sources spending btc earnings yearly was going to happen.

I was just wondering how the post got resurrected. I checked the poll and understood that the post is not from this generation.

It would have been better you created a new thread with more realistic figures in today's economy.

Those figures are too high. Imagine me voting less < 10 BTC and you would think if I have upto 6 BTC not knowing that I am still struggling with the decimals before 1 BTC

I voted less than 10 in the poll back in 2013. Now 13 years later, I still have less than 10. (Actually way way less than that amount)
Even though I expected Bitcoin to reach at this point, not being able to hold onto my coins is a bit painful, so I try not to think about it too much. My life is good and I'm not complaining, but sometimes I think that if I'd been a little more experienced back then, I would've made some different decisions and ended up in a much better place. I'm sure everyone who was on this forum in those days feels the same way.

Only adjustments need to be made to this poll, since the minimum number of bitcoins in possession is less than 10 (<10).

These numbers currently seem unattainable (>=100,000), and it would be good to add 1, 0.1, 0.01, 0.001, and so on. That is, more realistic numbers for the current time.

Perhaps you put the point in the wrong place? This number does not seem like much to a user who has been on the forum for 15 years.

Nobody should be publicly announcing how many coins they have, especially if it’s a not insignificant number. Unless you are very confident about your OPSEC then I don’t think it’s a good idea.

I agree with you that it's not a good idea to announce publicly how many one person has.

It's about privacy and privacy always matters. Just matters more or less for different people and with a same person, privacy matters differently along a lifespan. Unfortunately, privacy after lost somehow will not be able to recovered so be careful at start is the best way to secure our privacy.

There should be whales in the forum but I'm sure that they aren't as much, it means a lot for someone so hold such huge amount of coin, and it's usually those early investors.
Nevertheless it's actually good to know how active they are here, But it's funny how I see individuals voting for 100,000 Bitcoin like how real can that be lol

You must realize that OP made the thread was in October 02, 2012. It makes sense that many people have big number of Bitcoin at that time because Bitcoin was quite cheap. You don't think that Bitcoin price was the same as today. 

Anyway, your suggestion will be useless because OP is no longer active. The last time he was active in April 12, 2018. So, OP won't add any suggestion now.
