Understandable I guess. Not every signing will perform like what you expected. Coutinho for example. Pretty sure lots of people said Liverpool will take a step back after Coutinho leave, while in fact, it's Coutinho who weren't able to reach its peak performance with Barca.

Refusing an offer from Everton is a good step taken by MU, Maybe Everton's offer is far from MU's expectations. Solskjaer also still needs Smalling. it is said to be part of Solskjaer plan in the MU back line with Maguire and Victor Lindelof.

1st Man City

I just read Guardiola's prediction. Same like yours but MUTD is on 4th. I am only not sure about Liverpool second place.

Liverpool only lost one game in the PL last season, they didn’t get tired. They were at their peak at the end of the season hence they won the CL.

Liverpool drew too many games in the middle of the season.

I think you’re right about the benches though, Man City has higher squad depth. I think maybe they will miss Kompany in some games though, he was a legend & real leader for them.

Yes, and what is Liverpool doing this summer? they didn't buy a single player to improve his roster. I think they have no chance to win PL this season.

Maybe stupid by Klopp, they must have loads of money after getting two CL Finals in a row. I don’t know why they signed nobody, it seems dumb to me I agree.

They must have to keep quality. Look at Real Madrid, they dominate in CL three years, great team and they don't need to buy new players, but now is much different, this summer they already buy 4-5 new top players and seems it's still not enough.
I think it's better to buy one or two players per season rather than half of the team at once.

I see almost all of you expect 3:0 Liverpool win 

I remember, Salah has several games in a row that he didn't score. Just because of Mane they had a late win or draw (loose title in these games) in few games around the Christmas. They heed one good middle/offensive player to continue to be competitive. Some of the players have top season behind, and it's questionable can they repeat the same performance in the new season. For example Salah 17/18 vs. 18/19.

There are already two seasons that many Liverpool Players achieved their top of their performance in their careers.
I don't think that they will be able to perform at the same levels for many years. Maybe Salah will hardly be at his highest level. He has already three top seasons with amazing performance.Tiredness may hit him hard and maybe an injury may be a bad effect for him.

I see must of all people in pool says Liverpool will win 3:0, even if Norwich score in 7/10 last games against Liverpool.
First-round is very hard to predict.

The first game of this English Premier League season will start soon, even though the odds payout for Liverpool to win the match in full time against Norwich is low, but I believe Liverpool should not have any problem to beat Norwich in front of their home fans, as this will be a good opportunity to prove to their fans that Liverpool would once again be a strong contender to challenge Manchester City for the English Premier League trophy again.

Arsenal was really shocking at the end of the transfer window closing. By getting David Luiz and adding to Arsenal's back line for the coming season. Arsenal and Chelsea have agreed on the transfer of David Luiz. By paying 8 million pounds sterling for the Brazilian center back.

United had a wonderful preseason, so also Chelsea(not to the extent of united though). I think this game promises to be a cracker, and some early bragging rights for the fans and also players.

United obviously were the busier of the two in the transfer market, as Chelsea were only allowed to sell, and not being able to replace, the latest exit happens to be David Luiz, it will be fun to see how Lampard manages this Chelsea team, till this transfer ban is lifted.

Very interesting match.
This is a difficult start for Chelsea, especially for their new coach (lampard) and he must really be able to take advantage of this match. And highly anticipated for this match, Manchester United are not easy to beat, because they have a newly purchased defender. Something good to look forward to Manchester United and Chelsea matches.

On the other hand, this is a great opportunity for the team's youngsters to start and get the much needed minutes/experience on the field.

Club owners need to learn to be patient and pick the right solution for their problem. They should follow what FSG did when they bring Klopp and stays with him for 4 years.

Sign who and who do they replace? They've already got one of the best squads in the world. It's not like they probably didn't try either. Teams can't get anyone they want and there's not much point in taking just whoever they can get. It's not as easy as just signing a superstar as not many will want to go to Liverpool if they're going to be benched (and if they're going to start who do they replace from their already very strong team? Liverpool don't really have any weak links imo). Also, Spurs did pretty good last season without any signings (if I remember correctly) and finished fourth, one point behind Chelsea. Liverpool just need to keep doing what they're doing and hope they can do it better than City or hope some other teams take away some points from them.
