The Premier League continues to heat up in the third week. The top two teams Liverpool and Arsenal face each other at Anfield this weekend. Liverpool vs Arsenal battle will be held at Anfield on Saturday (08/24/2019). Liverpool currently lead the Premier League standings with six points, the same as Arsenal below.
Shown on home turf, Liverpool is more favored than its rivals. Since 2014, Liverpool are unbeaten in five matches at Anfield against Arsenal with consecutive wins in their three meetings.
I think that this is going to be an easy win for Liverpool. The team that Liverpool has built all this time is so healthy and the players are determined to win each game. Arsenal doesn't seem still solid, even they have made some great additions in the recent transfer window.

The best scenario this weekend is Arsenal and Liverpool draw so that it is 7 points. And my beloved Spurs win big so we are on Number 1 with good goal difference;) I know, it is meaningless,,, but I wish to see my team go top for once. We did so well against City, why not right? Second best team in Europe Hell no, my boys are going for the kill this weekend. I hope & expect Liverpool to beat Arsenal especially as it’s at Anfield. I’ll be really disappointed if we don’t win. City are so good, we can’t afford to start dropping points in our home games. Doubt Liverpool will draw to Arsenal, Arsenal defense hasn't been impressive so far and can't be compare to that of Liverpool neither would their attacking force be compared to that of Liverpool. The only problem with Liverpool is their goalkeeper. I believe, if it was Alisson in the goal post for all the matches played neither of the teams would had scored. With my thoughts above I'll predict a 3:1 win for Liverpool. If the game is that close it'll end 3:2 as Liverpool will surely win, they always fine a way to win and the boys will put in a wonderful display considering they didn't perform in their full force last match (effect of Istanbul match).

Both teams have both won in the previous 2 matches, That means who will win in the match will move away from second place. Both Liverpool and Arsenal will have the chance to get full points to become the top leaders of the EPL standings. I believe Liverpool can win this match, it's just that it will be difficult to win with a large number of goals.

If it was an away match then I would worry a little bit (not very much) for Liverpool. The last two away match against Arsenal settled as draw but since this is a home match for Liverpool I have no doubt that we will win. Why did you question home match? Check this: Head to head last five match Check the home wins! 5 - 1 4 - 0 (Although long ago) 3 - 1 (Although long ago)

Arsenal’s defence is weak & they don’t have a single leader in their team. I expect Liverpool to tear them to pieces at the weekend.

I must admit, Arsenal's defense now might be weak. But they will try to play well later. We'll see the match this weekend, it's interesting to watch how our predictions are here.

I think Arsenal will score, they have a really good attack. I just think Liverpool will score more, it’s only a prediction though, anything can happen.
It will be a good game between two attacking teams, a great one to watch for the neutral.

My opinion as well. I am planning on putting a shitload of money on both to score and over 2.5 goals in that match if I manage to get the odds around 2.0. Liverpool without first keeper and looking a bit shaky defensively while Arsenal never knew how to defend properly. Both teams have great attacks so should be a lot of goals. I am thinking score like 4:2 for LFC.

Attacking won't be a problem for both teams, as they're both good at doing so but the battle will be won at the defense level which is where Liverpool is superior to Arsenal. Liverpool doesn't play a possession type of football but Arsenal does which means Arsenal will have more of the possession which will create room for counter attacking football from Liverpool. There's every possibilities that Liverpool goals will come from either set piece, silly defensive mistake by the arsenal defense or counter attacking football, hardly before you see liverpool buidling their play from the back like Manchester city to score goals. Last time this guys met, the game ended 5:1 in favor of Liverpool and the defense of Arsenal hasn't improved that much so the possibility of Liverpool scoring goals are still there.

Okay I worked out on my picks, not final yet however I think this is how it will go for the third round all matches:
Aston Villa vs Everton: Draw
Norwich vs Chelsea: Chelsea (They really need a win and it's not gonna be easy though) Brighton vs Southampton: Draw Man Utd vs Crystal Palace: Man Utd (It's hard for Palace to stop them) Sheff Utd vs Leicester: Leicester (Finally they may win) Watford vs West Ham: Draw (Or West Ham may win it. Both team is having bad time in fact) Liverpool vs Arsenal: Liverpool (No question asked 🤪 )
Bournemouth vs Man City: City (City will be desperate to win this match. In their mind they already lost a point in the last match) Tottenham vs Newcastle: Tottenham (They will also be as desperate as City. Plus it's the home match.) Wolves vs Burnley: Wolves (They are looking good in this season)

I agree with you on this point we are going to have too many goals in this match as both teams have very good attack and both are capable of doing goals and Arsenal is weak in defense so they can face some very serious trouble from Liverpool as they are almost in full mood of ruined teams for this year's title.

Okay I worked out on my picks, not final yet however I think this is how it will go for the third round all matches:
No risk in your picks, you made the obvious choices but I think it's time for some big surprise in the premier league. We haven't witness any since the beginning of the season and the matchday 3 might just hold some. I'll be taking some risk, haven't decided yet on the club but Pukki is on fire, Chelsea might lose they don't have much goals in them. ManU might draw or lose. (They did drew last season at home vs palace), Tottenham vs Newcastle might end in a draw or narrow win for Tottenham (both games last season ended with a narrow win for Tottenham, just 1 goal difference).

Okay I worked out on my picks, not final yet however I think this is how it will go for the third round all matches:
Aston Villa vs Everton: Draw Finally a comment about the game thats kicks off matchday 3 tomorrow. I was thinking the Villans might play their hearts out tomorrow to avoid a 3rd consecutive loss (2nd loss at home would bring the team's morale down massively) so I thought Aston Villa ML could be a good [risky] bet...But now I'm not sure lol Norwich vs Chelsea: Chelsea (They really need a win and it's not gonna be easy though) I'm gonna go with what @CryptopreneurBrainboss said above, watch out for Pukki, 4 goals in 2 games, wouldn't be surprised if he manages to score next saturday against Chelsea's shaky defence, so I might go with BTTS on this one, not sure about the final outcome.

Aston Villa vs Everton tonight, I’m not going to bet on this as it’s such a tough one to predict. What do you guys think?
If I was pushed for a prediction I’d go for Villa to win very narrowly. They’ve lost 2 out of 2. I just feel with the home crowd on a night kick off they might edge it.

Aston Villa need the points. As a newly promoted team, if they lose 3/3 then it’s going to create doubt & a real lack of confidence in the squad. I actually disagree with your prediction, I think Everton might win.

This most times helps to motivate teams going into games on the back of two or three losses, knowing fully well that another loss for them would raise question marks about their determination to stay and compete in the premier league. There is no way Aston Villa would lose today, it's a "must not lose" for them. I also doubt they'll lose three games in a row, except of course they were coming up against one of the very big teams in the league. I think I'll be placing a bet on this one for a draw, most probably a 2-2 draw, I'll be watching out for this one eagerly.

Aston Villa have made quite a number of decent transfers in the transfer market before the start of the season, and I think Aston Villa should be able to start gaining some points with the number of new players that joined the team. But playing against Everton is not an easy task even with home ground advantage, and I think there is a high chance for this match to ends in a draw at the full time whistle.

Aston Villa is a building in construction, mainly because of the differences between Premier League and Championship. Not every team can follow the way of Wolves and reach the highest level from the start. Villa has a lot of fine players and this team can be fine to watch this season but let's not forget that it's only the beginning. The beginning for Everton as well. I've watched both matches of this team and the team didn't look like the team itself. It's still in construction, just like Villa, so maybe you're right. The draw is really possible in this game and I think that I will go for this result.

If you look at the statistics in the previous two games. Aston villa has not even tasted victory, Unlike Evertor who won (1) draw (1). Of course this condition Everton is very favored, but as said @LFC_Bitcoin that it is true this match is very difficult to predict. I'm sure both teams will fight to get maximum points, I hope Aston Villa wins to improve its current rank.

I feel this is the best time for Aston Villa to win their first game of the season, It is high time that the monies that they spent during the transfer season starts bringing them the results that they need. Though it is like for Aston Villa to win, I feel secure the game in two or more goals being scored.
