Chelsea vs Liverpool should be a great match. Both teams lost midweek although you could say both possibly didn’t deserve to lose. Chelsea missed a penalty which would have made it 1-1 & Liverpool conceded a penalty which shouldn’t have been given. I really don’t understand what is the point of VAR if it doesn’t change wrong decisions.
Any way, I think Chelsea vs Liverpool will be a close one, maybe a draw.
After the recent results that Chelsea have done, i don't think that this match is going to be very competitive. I believe that Liverpool is going to dominate this game and probably score around 3 goals in the match as Mane is on fire. Chelsea is building something new with Lampard and they definitely need more time for that. If you look at the previous match (head to head), surely it can be said to be contradictory. Well, we know that Lampard and Chelsea need time to build a team. But usually they will be strong if they meet a strong team. So this week's match, it might be fierce and Liverpool could lose their points. I hope this will be a draw. Do you mean the Super Cup game? If you say so, it was a great match and Chelsea played really well there. But, this was the only match which Chelsea tried really hard. All other matches was truly disappointing and Lampard has now started using young talented players in the squad.

No doubt about that, Chelsea are building something new with their new manager, but that doesn't make them pushovers or less of a big team. When two big teams play, irrespective of form, or which has slightly better players, it still turns out to be a tough encounter, the ego is at stake as well as bragging rights of who defeated who amongst the big six. Only on few occasions can a capitulation occur on the part of one of the teams. That said, Chelsea are in this game and the two teams have nearly equal chance of winning, Liverpool obviously are the ones in the greater form, but Chelsea still remain a top club and that's enough motivation.

Liverpool will win this match by 2 goals difference. Either 2 - 0 or 3 - 1 True that they are trying to build something with Lampard but Liverpool is an inform team and their mission is only at the season title. They know agains big team they will need to be extra careful because they only can make damage to Liverpool. By big team, I am considering City, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Tottenham. So far we are good. 15 out of 15 from 5 matches.

Chelsea has long been said to be a big club in the English league. Lampard and Chelsea do need time, It's still too short. Building a team does take 2-3 next season. With the achievement of the lampard now, in my opinion it can be proud of. But it does not stop there, Chelsea must rise again and against Liverpool in the upcoming match. It is very evident that lampard will be able to overcome it.

I will bet and take Southampton in this match.
If I am forced to lean either way, I would go in the opposite direction and choose Bournemouth to win the match. Both teams are coming off the back of victories, Bournemouth were very impressive against Everton, especially defensively. The home crowd would have an effect, but Bournemouth should be sharper in the final third.

One fixture which I'm very interested in, is Bournemouth - Southampton. It's very difficult to predict (as all premier league matches), and I'd be going with shared points by both teams. Bournemouth are in a good form and a victory would take them to second position on the log, but Southampton can always hurt any opponent, possibly a 1-all draw
In this match i think i would be confident to go for both teams to score. Southampton will be at home which means they will be a little confident while Bournemouth have also been scoring lots of goals lately which means they wont go down easily I will give Bournemouth a win Southampton 1:2 Bournemouth

They’ll both be keen to bounce back with a win, I think it might be a dtaw although yeah, Liverpool are probably favourites to win.

I'm not sure this time with Chelsea they will perform well at home, even though they are in the same condition after losing in the CL, but I'm sure Liverpool will perform better and will win the match. We see 3 home matches Chelsea can not show the best, the results of a draw twice at home against Leicester and against Sheffield Utd and last lost to Valencia in CL. That is a bad statistic for Chelsea playing at home and it looks like suffering will continue when Liverpool are able to win the match.

Chelsea are still looking for their first victory at home, across all competitions this season, while they have won two-thirds of their away matches this season in the EPL losing only to Manchester United on the opening day. Overall, they have been very inconsistent in their performances and also results. Liverpool on the other hand have been extremely consistent with a perfect start after five games and would be looking to extend that on Sunday.

I foresee a total of five (5) goal in the match don't know or can't predict exactly how it would be divided but the advantage is in favor of Liverpool. For starters they have been the impressive team this season winning five game out of give while scoring an average of 3 goals per game. Therefore scoring 3goals against Chelsea won't be a problem unless the miracle of Stamford bridge comes to our aid. Chelsea on the other hand are capable of scoring 2 or more goals considering the impressed form Abraham and Mount are currently in. Hopefully will can force the UCL championship to a draw as we'll be having the home advantage factor or possibly take the whole three point with a 3:2 win although losing to Liverpool won't be anything to be ashamed of nevertheless I'm expecting a wonderful performance form Chelsea. This will be liverpool's first big test of the season.

I think both teams were very unlucky with the lack of VAR, I agree. I did not see the exact videos but if you read all the reports, you can safely say both teams at least should have had VAR reviews. Especially for me in the case of DIVING. If you get a penalty and there is possibility of cheating, you better use VAR. Hope EPL respects their commitment to kick out diving.

Yes Mate. I agree with this, even they play at home does not make them to be a favorite in this match. LFC seems to be on a different level from Chelsea, it will be very difficult for Chelsea to steal points in those match. instead LFC will try to get full points for each match to stay away from ManC chase.

Do you think so, Liverpool have played Arsenal and they hit them with three goals, I think this is actually their second real/big test of the season, though this one promises to be tougher than that of Arsenal. Chelsea would prove a harder nut to crack than Arsenal for Liverpool, and as a Manchester City fan I do hope Chelsea pull up something and win that game, as it stands Liverpool are running away with the title, though it's still early days.

Yeah the Callejon dive was ridiculous not to be turned over. VAR must be much better if it’s to be used going forward. They disallow goals that are literally a shoulder offside but won’t overturn a referee decision, it’s stupid.

I am taking a defensive stand now. Sure Liverpool will win but it will not be very easy for them. Chelsea will give their everything to take some points away for LFC. I think the win margin will be only one goal. I am expecting 1 - 2 win for Liverpool. I will not like us to lose any point from this match.

Why does people act like Liverpool wasn't the champions league winner of last year and Chelsea was literally third place by luck by just 1 point ahead of forth and 2 points ahead of fifth position (one more loss and they would have been fifth)? Is Chelsea really THAT better than they were last year? Looking at their recent game I doubt that is true, is people hoping that Liverpool would have a bad game because its the start of the season?
Guys this is Liverpool, they will win against Chelsea for sure, this is not a nice candy world where we praise everyone for trying, this is gambling, I would not bet a single satoshi on Chelsea to win this game, maybe I am wrong, maybe Chelsea will win, maybe there will be draw but if I am going to risk my money then it will surely be Liverpool for me.

CL and ELP is totally two platform and performance also varies.

This is going to be a tough one, probably game of the weekend and I think both teams have good offensive lineups with the likes of the Abraham's , the manes and Salahs all look fired up but that UEFA performance gave me a different insight of the game and I see a boredraw at the least... And Liverpool running away with the title Mate don't tell me you have already forgotten that the reds have this habit of throwing away a huge advantage...let me not go far just last season they threw away a 10point lead only to be caught by city who had lost several matches unlike their 1 loss from 38 matches.

I am thinking to bet on more goals or both to score in this encounter. Both teams are scoring lots of goals and don't look too good on defensive. This is especially true for Chelsea but Liverpool is also looking a bit more shaky defending than last season. Of course Liverpool is a clear favorite but I think Chelsea has good chance of scoring at least one goal. But I expected lots of goals during the week in Champions League and both Chelsea and LFC let me down so don't listen to me.

That's just what i did, my bet is on Liverpool winning as every indication points toward them walking away with the 3points although the fan spirit in me is praying for Chelsea to put in an awesome display to aleast draw the game or probable win it. Liverpool recently are far better than Chelsea that's no argument and the chances of us winning them is almost impossible but it's football and anything is possible. It'll take a poor performance from Liverpool for us to profit although even in poor performance this season, Liverpool has always found a way to win games. Our defense hasn't proven themselves to be capably of securing a lead, even against wolves we gave them hope by allowing them to score twice when we should have used that opportunity to claim our first clean sheet.
