Liverpool's performance really great in beginning of this season, I also think they can win the EPL league this season, if they consistent. the league hasn't run a quarter yet, which there is still a lot of chance that will happen that can ruin their efforts. just a recap last season they failed just because of 1 point a difference from ManC.
Manchester city can score all the goals they like it won't matter if Liverpool have more points than they do. Liverpool are very capable of winning the premier league. Let me refresh your memory, last two seasons Liverpool got to the champions league final and lost to Madrid (not because they were poor but due to some goal keeping and defense mistakes). What then happened the next champions league season, they went all the way to win the title and that's how you identify champions. Back to the premier league, last season Liverpool lost the title to Manchester City as the best ever runner up that in previous season would had won them the title, that's to prove Liverpool are capable of winning if they don't let winning games to cost them points by losing or drawing. Just like in the champions league, Liverpool would triumph in this second season. Opinion on the Chelsea vs Liverpool game: Kante was brilliant, it was a positive display from the Chelsea team and although we lost, we can take some positive development from the match. It wasn't our day congrats to liverpool (salah was bullied throughout the game).

With the current log showing the Red's to be up with a 5point margin, Is this the season Liverpool gets to win the EPL It well can be, it also may not, but there is no denying the fact that Liverpool are in an amazing position right now, five points gap after six games, that's the position every team wanna be in. City to me is the only team that can usurp them, but it's going to take some doing, city needs Liverpool to drop points, while also avoiding dropping points, it's a difficult position to be in, the season is still hard and long, it's still open for most of the big six, but klopps men are favorites as it stands.

It's too early to conclude, Liverpool have been in such a position before and they blew away the lead.
That is true, Liverpool have experience of blowing up leads, last year everyone saw them winning easily, hype was big, everyone was sure of it. But i think situation this season is different. They don't have that hype going on because of their history of blowing up leads and everyone that City will be constant threat. On top of that you add that win against Chelsea (imo Chelsea is much better than the current EPL table shows), where they didn't exactly dominate, but they managed to get win despite that. That shows me that team matured, and is getting winning mentality, and that is not something you can build overnight.

No matter what happens this season again it will be decided by two teams. City and Liverpool. Chelsea maybe have better team then last season but this one will be just to take some place for Europe next season, lots of players left and come I this needs to put together as a team. United on other hand is usually bad start and in mid season they try to get some spot for Europe. This things never happen with Ferguson as a Manager. Leicester could be surprise again this season like the one they toot title. Also dont forget Arsenal and Tottenham. Always in top 5 teams. From some point maybe this season will be interesting. Again its still early to say anything and probably it will take some time to say more but this first several games suggest that we will see City and Liverpool battle for title and it could be great to see champ is decide in last few games.

yes mate. I dont doubt LFC capability on EPL. liverpool are one of the strongest squad in europe right now and they can win the EPL this season, last season was a warning for ManC that Liverpool will return in this season and win the title. the key is that they always play consistently to get full points till the season end. because if they neglect, ManC they will punish them again.

I think physical fitness is probably the reason one of those two teams will drop points. Liverpool has busy fixtures. On top of that, their back-up is perhaps not as good as City. However, they have some fantastic talents with Brewster on forwards. We'll probably see them play with 4-3-2-1 more often and try to use their midfield who probably have a lot of stamina to keep pressing the opponents. Liverpool 2nd half against Chelsea shows that they might be tired too. But who knows, Klopp is a good coach, and he can push his players to give 120% if it's needed. Again its still early to say anything and probably it will take some time to say more but this first several games suggest that we will see City and Liverpool battle for title and it could be great to see champ is decide in last few games.
I don't expect them to finish with less than 90 points if their form continues like this. One of them probably has 100 points or so, and the other will be around 97 points or so. The only significant difference between these two teams is that if City is going to win, they'll win it big, but if they got one or two-goal conceded, they could drop points. On the other hand, Liverpool is not 'that good' with dominating their opponents, but they always work hard and make a comeback. They only failed to do it against City last year. Forget Barca and Real. City & Liverpool rivalry is probably going to continue for five years or so.

Liverpool didn't become this Liverpool overnight tho, people are expecting too much from them all of a sudden because they became a great team but they worked hard to get here so they have to keep working hard to stay here as well. Just to give an example, maybe 20 years ago or so Real Madrid built the best team money could ever buy, from Carols to Figo to Zidane to Ronaldo (brazillian) like everyone was there, that team didn't had to go to practice and work hard or didn't had to work hard against smaller teams, they had enough talent to just beat anyone ever.
Liverpool is not at that level, they are very very talented but not that talented over everyone else, what they have is hard work 90 minutes of every game and an amazing coach that will find loopholes in other teams, so even if they win, its not gonna be a piece of cake for them, they will have to earn it.

Still a long way to go however this should explain Liverpool. Six win out of six match. We sill have 32 to go though. Liverpool had it's ups and downs like every other team but right now they need to enjoy their time. Make less mistakes and have the season title. The race still is in between City and Liverpool though.

Think Lovren being injured is not a big deal at all. Van Dijk, yes, any of the front 3, yes.

Chelsea vs Liverpool, not sure about you lot but my all preparation is to watch the match. The way City destroyed Watford yesterday, it seemed that they were angry LOL. Liverpool needs to show same kind of aggression to warn City that they (Liverpool) are the boss is EPL. I was predicting a 2 - 1 win for Liverpool but I am thinking to change my prediction to 3 - 1 or 4 - 1 (It's just gut feeling)
I will also need Mane to score for FortuneJack Majestic.
Well I hope you didn't change your initial prediction and you made some profit. Chelsea was once again so bad and lost at a home game. I don't think that Lampard is going to be on the bench till the end of the season. He does so bad till now.

Chelsea was once again so bad and lost at a home game. On the contrary, Chelsea wasn't bad at all, especially in the 2nd half, they fought hard after loosing 0-2 in the first 30 minutes . That just shows how good Liverpool is at the moment.

I am a Chelsea fan since 2009 and this is the worst time for Chelsea IMO, indeed many have predicted that Chelsea will lose the match, but supposedly, Chelsea are able to keep their goal at home, now Chelsea are falling and ranked 11th, this hurts me very much.

He did stand a chance. But Messi takes the award tonight, and deservedly so, in my opinion. His stats were incredible to normal standards, and good to 'Messi standards'. This was the best chance of the award coming to the EPL for a long time. There's still the ballon d'or coming up, they sometimes do not pick same winners as #thebest.

I still feel for Goal Keepers and defenders when it comes to such awards. I mean Messi was incredible but so where Van Dijk and Alisson... The problem is these awards have lately been influenced by "popularity" too Goal Keepers and defenders can not stand a chance because they can not get such stats of goals and assists like a striker does.

I am a Real Madrid Fan, diehard Fan! But when i saw Marcelo and Ramos on the list, i started looking for my name too 😁😁😁I mean what criteria did those chaps use for selecting the best 11? Was it through public votes or otherwise?

Yup, this is still the initial phase of the league there are still many possibilities that occur, bad luck can happen to any team in the match. like as I said before winning the league is about team consistency, to how they maximize their squad in each match, player injuries and fatigue in undergoing UCL and EPL are usually the determining factors for team success, so they must be diligent in rotating players. ManC is indeed superior because it has a better squad depth than the LFC. but that does not mean LFC is not able to win this league with the squad they have now, ManC must remain vigilant.
