Crystal Palace - Brighton (7:45 pm) Most people in my country bet on Palace but I don't get why. I think Brighton have more chances for winning this match. They've beaten Arsenal and scored a goal away at Liverpool, had 65% possession against Wolves. Crystal Palace had 0 shots on target against Watford. I'm pretty sure they won't score more than one so this is my bet: I think Palace will win narrowly but it’s definitely not something I’ll be betting on. There isn’t a lot of difference in quality between the two teams so it’s a risky decision to bet on this one. @Swordsoffreedom Your bet is looking good as we are heading for end of first half and Crystal Palace is very poor no shot on goal Brighton already 6 with 4 on target Possession is 70% in favor of Brighton look like its draw or Brighton win if they are not going to make changes in second half.

Arsenal are being heavily linked Mikel Arteta with club agents reportedly seen leaving his residence. Arteta has worked under a good mentor and should have gained valuable qualities, but is lacking in experience and I don't think he is the best option for the club at the moment. They need a manager with experience and a good success trail, I would have picked Allegri for the job or Ancelloti. Pochetino would also be a good option but us unlikely.
Imagine how the mighty have dropped. Their ambitions must have also dropped pretty much. Instead of looking for the best managers in Europe so as to return the past glory they are instead going for amateurs

I would have preferred Carlos Anceloti as coach against Arteta, Anceloti had manged lots of big teams, this is Arteta first career as head coach, I wont be surprised if after few weeks the banner of Arteta out is been shown, I wish him the best though, he needs a total overhaul of those players in order to get results

Arsene Wanger is also still available as a coach. For other coaches like you said the problem is that Arsenal don't play in the Champions league. This can reduce their attractiveness. It seems they have to fight extra hard in the European league for champions to be able to play in the championship league next season. This is a chance that makes more sense than they have to catch up to finish in the top 4 of the English league
I doubt Arsene Wenger would be keen on a return to the Emirates after iver a decade in charge, I also don't think he's the man to fix the club. The best pick would be Diego Simeon IMO, but he's unlikely to move and as you stated it's difficult to attract top talents without being in the elite football group.

Unexpected move from Ancelloti to move to Everton. It's not the smartest move in his career as he go to a club with not so strong players and not a title to chase.

Diego Simeone ...? I don't think that will happen. A few months ago Jose Mourinho was still unemployed but the Arsenal did not immediately take it .. They are now too stingy to pay the wages of a good coach. Yes, besides consideration Arsenal only play in the European league

However, we should not forget that Ancellotti is far from the performance of the old days. I think it could be a nice experience for both Ancelotti and Everton.

I think that this is a smart move based on the simple fact that both in Bayern Munich and at Napoli he was sacked because the players didn’t like him.I think in these teams the players decide quite a lot and I have never seen this behavior in a Premier League club so I think he has done the best choice in the situation.

Although Duncan ferguson deserves the permanent job as the players also feel comfortable under him with its passionate coaching style . Everton board have to be honest that Ancelotti might could bring more hope to reach what club's target that has been set since the beginning of the season. Everyone knew it , Ancelotti is far better option. Nothing better than managed by the club legend who served the club for 10 years but it's just not his time.

This is very shocking news for me. I never thought Everton would take Ancelotti. It looks like they really want to build a solid team and can compete to get the English league title in the coming seasons. Everton are clearly one step ahead of Arsenal for now.Now Arsenal are the only former big team that always moves slowly to build their team.

Ancelotti must be going there short term surely. I read somewhere it’s a 6 month deal with a 4 million GBP bonus if he saves them from relegation.
We’re talking about a multiple title winning coach here, surely he doesn’t want to settle there long term.

Honestly I would prefer Arsene Wenger to come back on a short term basis to fix the club and overhaul the entire team, a club that has been struggling in the league without any aspiration of going to top four wouldn't be attractive to other players from other clubs as you rightly said for now Arsenal need a complete reformation in order to compete with other top EPL clubs

You’re supposed to look to the future, not the past. I don’t think Wenger returning to Arsenal would be a good thing unless it was on a short term basis until the summer.
Arsenal fans used to moan about Wenger a lot, they wanted him sacked for years. Sometimes you dom’t appreciate what you have until it’s gone.

It's even unbelievable for someone to suggest that Arsene Wenger return to Arsenal, that is impossible, it surely cannot happen, Wenger did not have it easy with the Arsenal fans in the few years leading to his departure, and I do not think any of them will want him back. Arsenal should not have sacked Emery imo, he should have been giving at least to the end of the season, just as united are doing with Solskjaer. Arsenal were in a transition, sacking Emery just broke that transition, and any coach they would sign now would just start from the beginning again. Arsenal must understand that it'll take time before they can return to their past glory.

Why is no one really giving Duncan a chance? I mean I know he is not proven and Everton is doing horribly so far so they are looking to get a manager that could turn things around and make a big splash but right now Duncan seems to be doing decently and everybody loves him.
I guess there was talks about David Moyes for far longer than just the sacking, I assume he might pick up the reigns very soon but I would love to see Duncan manage the team until the break at least. Even if he doesn't get a manager position with Everton today after this sacking, if he is allowed to coach them until the break that could potentially mean he could get a managing position in some other team, even if it is not premier league it could be championship and he would have a chance to show himself.

Arsene Wenger history with Arsenal is well and over already it makes absolutely no sense getting him, Neither does it make any sense for Wenger himself to return, nothing is going to change if he returns, they need a manager capable of initiating a complete overhaul then give him A LOT OF TIME to build something, not just the usual few bad weeks and boom it's a sack that's rampant in the EPL. It makes no sense when after just a few bad games that every manager have to be thinking about getting sacked.

Maybe Duncan will be an assistant coach. He could further improve his managerial knowledge by becoming an Ancelotti student. I think the Everton did not want to repeat the events experienced by Manchester United where after they appointed Solkjaers to be the main coach, MU's appearance began to be unstable.

More than that, rumored that he also interested to make a reunion with Ibrahimovic, although libra himself indicated that he will go to serie A (ac milan or inter milan) Everton spend a lot to hire Ancelotti, I heard he'll get around 12 million pounds a year! It means he gonna be third highest manager paid in premier league , they are really serious this time with Ancelotti . Mikel arteta also has been in talk with arsenal since few days ago , looks like ljungberg will be in the coaching staff under his junior interesting isn't it? This is mad that epl top clubs nowadays managed by their club legend! A non (really) experienced one , big bet here!
