What happened::
I saw an investment site > https://www.cryptoconomist.biz which claims to be trading on FOREX exchange market. I invested $20 (in BTC). After I sent them the payment, they remained unresponsive still after 213 confirmations! I think they just scammed my money. Stay away from them!!

Amount Scammed:
$20 (0.0753522 BTC)

Proof of Payment:
https://blockchain.info/tx/ea6946b4a8467e69601dd0f472ee1e226a682f57d860c26021b877bc0eabd904

PM/Chat Logs:
I have contacted them via chat and what I got are damn excuses !!

Update: I just flooded their chats with slangs and from today they disabled their chat !  Grin

Additional Notes:
This site is already listed on www.badbitcoin.org  Angry

Well, by looking at heir "payout" rates it's obvious that they are scam. There's no chance in hell that someone can provide with
such results running an honest bussines.
Also, the remark on http://www.badbitcoin.org/ is from  7/4/15 , you should have looked them up before investing. Sorry for your loss.

cheers

Not only it's a scam but they also clearly did a corporate identity theft, by looking at companies house! Stay away from this site! Obviously no one can assure a 7000% profit in 100 days. if it was really the case those guys wouldn't be asking for money from retail investors, they would be running the world with a real HF.

Any idea how we can shut down the website?

7000% profit in 100 days
Just thinking about believing that it might make sense to invest in a site which states such returns should be punished. There is no way such returns can be delivered.
Man, even saying "if it sounds too good to be true…" leaves a stupid feeling in such an obvious case.

OP: I'm trying to feel sorry for your loss, but it's really not easy. Maybe you can make back your loss at a site which has 10000% return? :> (scnr)

Why do you say that? It's very easy and cheap to register a limited company in the UK and they don't check any details.

OP
You might want to call Mr. Saleh of R.U.B. Exchange on  00 44 20 8452 9189 and ask him if he knows Eller Otte. Probably a waste of a call, but Saleh is registered as running a business from the Cricklewood Broadway address and Otte is supposedly the company secretary/director of Cryptwhatsit.

Or you could spam their FB along with other unhappy "investors". https://www.facebook.com/Cryptoconomist-Limited-640436376100681/timeline/

Not much sympathy though. What are you stupid, greedy, or both?

Just the homepage alone screams ponzi  Roll Eyes

7000% return after 100 days rofl

The best way to not get scammed by ponzis is to simply not participate in any of them. Don't invest anything, even if it's just a little. That's how these people tend to stay in business and manage to scam more and more over time. Everyone thinks "I'm sure I'll get out with some profits before the ponzi collapses" then each of those small $20 deposits add up, fueling the ponzi to allow for larger investors to get scammed.
