It's all fair. They fail to realize that I was working with the entire system leading up to BUCKS for over 16 months. People seem to think I just spam-clone the same thing over and over and over when every one of my projects is very different

Try restarting the computer running the wallet. That helped me

Or you can send your coins to a fresh wallet and see if that improves performance

It is CPU lagging, not latency. You can test this by sending one TX to a fresh wallet and letting it stake. If you experience no lag, that's why

5.2.1.1 should reduce CPU usage on some operating systems
