Not clear how this coin started and where the coins came from.

1) Is it, or was it, ever proof of work? Or only proof of stake? If only proof of stake, where did the original coins come from?

2) There are not a lot of references to primes found by this coin. How many have been found?

3) If this started as a gag coin, then morphed into a serious project, is there some post that gives a complete history of the coin?

There was PoW for a while a long time ago

Not that many, they are very rare and will become even more rare the longer the chain goes

The history is quite long, but all you need to know is this: It used to stake for negative coins, but the system could be gamed so I wrote the simple formula to generate and check a number for 100% positive primality (no estimates or shortcuts)
