I was in Bitcoin long before I joined a signature campaign so obviously I do care about Bitcoin. In fact I care about Bitcoin so much that I always try to find ways to add more to my small collection. Signature campaigns aid me in my cause

I posted for a year with no sig. finally someone asked very insistently to please participate and I said sure give me a few bits, why not. I know I look a bit less credible and some people might think I'm posting for the money, but I really don't care what they think. but just for the record, I've always posted heavily.
I'll always be a bitcoiner even if bct died.

Yes I do care about the bitcoin. And everyone here should also do. But I never mind posting on the forum and getting paid. If I will not be paid for posting, then my posts will be less but I will never stop it.

Ok, Signature Campaigners, this one is for you - how much is the fact that you can get paid in bitcoin for posting on this forum the biggest factor that keeps you involved in bitcoin?
"Free" money, right? (almost...we do give up our time.) I can earn some bitcoin without having to risk my own money, right? What have I got to lose?
How many of you have thought these sentiments and can honestly admit that if this opportunity for earning didn't exist you would not care about bitcoin?
Remember, the poll is anonymous...
Even if Sig campaign is no existence, there are still a way for earn some Bitcoin, remember Bitcoin is a currency. You can find a job with Bitcoin payment, sell goods and get paid Bitcoin, developing a Bitcoin project, but the best way easy way for earn Bitcoin with a pretty good rate is through sig campaign

We have been here and interested in bitcoin way before signature campaigns were started, and we will be here no matter what. I personally believe that campaigns didn't only bring bad things along, but have given people incentive to create more constructive posts as well.
cheers

The bitcoin(s) I've received in signature campaigns are minimal compared to what I've bought myself so I'd absolutely care about bitcoin if signature campaigns were stopped. I check the price multiple times a day, I've educated myself on security to ensure my bitcoins are secure in offline cold storage. I actually enjoy being in a signature campaign, it's quite fun, gives me something to do when I'm bored. Sure I'd post less if I wasn't in a signature campaign but that's natural I guess.
Same sentiments here. My sig has earned me about 1/1000 of my bitcoins. I guess I just thought if i was posting here anyway, I might as well get something for it. I probably post more rubbish like this response as a result tho. But then again, many argue it's better to be more involved. My jury is still out on that.

Even if I didn't have a sig campaign, I would still be on this forum, albeit posting less frequently. Still, there are many ways to get Bitcoin from this forum through providing services and selling things, so I wouldn't leave.

Probably yes. Signature isn't what is motivating me to use Bitcoin right now. But it is more of the unfreezable and irreversible payment. It helps a lot in digital transactions where there is no physical proof. Other than that, the fees is quite attractive too.

Yeah, sure I would still be interested in Bitcoin. The Signature Ad Campaigns help keep my experience here at bitcointalk more interesting, more tingly knowing that I am participating in a community.
And that I am advertising a service that I use and respect. MIXING BTC helps keep them away from prying eyes.

I was wondering how many bitcoins here are getting paid for his/her signature?

I think most people are drawn to bitcoin and this forum and then later they find out about sig campaigns. I used BTC for well over a year before I enrolled in my first ad campaign. Honestly I thought they paid next to nothing, and then someone mentioned how much they got made me sign up. Getting some extra BTC just for posting is a pretty sweet deal IMO. It has however lead to lots of spammers

well even if there is no signature campaign i still care about bitcoin, there are other ways or opportunities to earn bitcoins here aside from the signature campaign. You're the second post in this thread, you don't need to quote me (the OP) in your response. It's implied. I think may have asked the wrong question. Perhaps a better question would be how many of you would care about BitcoinTalk Forum without paid signatures? Thanks for the honest replies already!

This is definitely a unusual poll and is in the wrong section. I guess that a lot of people are posting just for the money. I was posting here months before I joined my first campaign. A month or two after joining I had invested in a mining operation that turned out great (3 months before the spike). I would say that the signature campaigns did nothing other than increase my contributions towards other members and the forum itself.
My involvement with Bitcoin has no correlation with the campaign(s).
Which forum would be more appropriate? And everyone posts for a few months before joining a signature campaign, it takes that long to rank up and to become aware that the opportunity even exists! I'm glad you've had a positive contribution. Thanks for your vote.

I was here before I got into the Signature Campaign. And I'll be here afterwards should it come to that.
Mostly I am here to learn, ask questions to those who may know the answers, and offer my own opinions. bitcointalk is a nice little place to exchange interesting information about an important technology. There are also some interesting threads I see in "Economic", some views I do not see even at Zero Hedge and similar.
And Reddit just doesn't do anything for me.

Thanks. I love the Economic forum and agree that Reddit is distracting. I can't read endless pages that look like code. That formatting was probably intentionally to keep some people off the site...ha
