Stephen, My name is Brent James and I am head of Marketing and Communications at Trucoin. We are indeed allowing private beta access in the 8 supported states -- this list of supported states will continue to grow as we get closer to our public launch. While we have not been aggressively promoting, we are still actively looking for more beta users that can help us finish getting prepared for our official launch. If you reside in any of the following states and would like to be a beta tester, please let us know: Florida; Massachusetts; Missouri; Montana; New Jersey; New Mexico; South Carolina; or Texas Feel free to message me directly here, follow and message us on Twitter at @trucoin or fill out a request on the contact us page of our site. Please let me know if anyone here has any questions, I'll do my best to answer them. Best, -- Brent A James Trucoin VP Marketing and Communications http://TruCoin.com -- buy with credit or debit card. Currently in beta, but those on the list are getting invites. As far as some background on TruCoin -- at one point in time (before there was a Bitcoin Foundation), TruCoin paid a salary to Gavin to continue as lead core dev and they also hired someone to do QA on the Bitcoin client.

What about other countries outside the US. Do you think you will support them soon?

You can use your Visa or Mastercard to buy up to $250 worth of BTC on Coin.mx - https://coin.mx/The entire process takes less then 10 minutes if you follow the instructions provided for verification. From start to finish you could have USD in your account using your credit card, which can then be exchanged for Bitcoin or Litecoin that quickly! If you have any questions about getting started, please feel free to reach out to our 24 hour support team via Live Chat on our website, on the phone at 855.712.6466, or via email at support@coin.mx and we will be happy to help! ~Jen, Senior Support, Coin.mx

I already went through a recent identity theft crap, so please spare me. I rather wait for a btc atm which probably wont ask that stuff. Something even coinbase doesnt do.

circle.com, it was recently launched. You can buy Bitcoin almost instantly with your credit card, or via bank transfer if you live in the US.

Yes, thank you for your answer but I already know that; but Okthen mentionned that in the Netherlands it was possible to buy bitcoins using debit cards and as I am as a matter of fact going to the Netherlands tonight I was wondering how it was possible to do so.
Hey man, so sorry for not replying earlier - somehow I didn't see your post. You can buy them on bitonic.nl, with the iDeal system (which allows you to use a debit card). However, you need to have a Dutch bank account...

You require too much information. This was the only reason i didn't want to use your services.
