I'll be adding a pool later for this coin, but not right after launch, i'll be adding a bit later so it's a good chance to get some coins solo.
ethminer is perfect for solo mining, so don't worry that you won't be able to mine.
You can test your rigs on my/every ETH pool.

Can someone post a solo mining config? I always have problems connecting to wallets when soloing, never know whether to use: http://127.0.0.1:port http://localhost:porthttp://myip:port stratum+tcp:// And all of the above options or just nothing in front of the above options, meaning no http://? ethminer.exe -G -F http://eth.suprnova.cc:3000/jimlite.jimmain/26So if switching from pool in the above config, this: http://eth.suprnova.cc:3000Would be replaced with what for soloing to my wallet? Thanks P.S. When will wallets be posted?

It is getting pretty hectic here. ethminer needs to be ported so it supports shifts rpc calls. These have changed so it will not work with the ethminer from ethereum. Second, the GUI wallet is shipped today for linux-amd64 only. The rest of the architectures are going to be compiled tomorrow. As for shift binary (geth) all is done, every arch is supported (almost ) Regards

Mining through wallet is not coded yet. The developer have just joined shift team. Regards I assume you are going to post a windows wallet, and then we use ethminer and point it to our own ip with your shift wallet open to solo mine?

The miner will be done today, no problem. The only thing that is not going to be done, is a GUI wallet for windows which you can create accounts and send transactions from. You can still use the command prompt though.

All I want to know is without a windows wallet, other than downloading your miner and mining to my I.P., I assume I need a windows wallet to listen and mine to it? Or are you providing a way to solo without a windows wallet? It is confusing, if there won't be pools till later, I think you should post a quick short windows solo mining guide here.
