How to check balance?
web3.fromWei(web3.eth.getBalance(web3.eth.accounts[0]), "ether") <- do not work

i presume there is no blochchain explorer yet?

Do not use web3, it is not fully converted yet.

Use the rpc interface directly.

It should be no problem at all. I just tested it out in win 8 64.

Btw the wiki is updated, its "account new" instead of "address new"

Also, how do you spend days on developing and not even post mining instructions other than 'just mine like Ether'. Seriously, a 10 year old could have released this better.

The instructions are there? Yes one have complained so far.. trying to figure out what the error can be..

This is very odd. I'm the developer of the GUI ShiftWallet, so I can't say directly what the problem is. I'm also on a mac atm. When I get home I'll try and have a look if I get the same error in win8.

I downloaded the source from github.

That's all I had to do on ubuntu 14.04. Then used the same miner I was using for ETH.
