Is there a step-by-step instructions on how to mine somewhere?  Sorry if I missed it.

Unlike bitcoin, you can create accounts in ethereum that are more like bank accounts. They maintain history. You send partial funds out and the remaining funds stay in your account. There aren't new accounts created behind the scenes.

Very important notice. If you are running your Shift node on a server directly connected to internet, make sure not to enable RPC if you do not firewall that port. There are some existing bugs in ethereum that has followed over to shift, funds can be stolen this way if you are unlucky. So, do not enable rpc on a server with a wallet that has large amount of funds. Just until we come up with a fix for this..

Doesn't matter. Unlocking is only needed for outgoing operations.

@Shift

Just getting home.

Which wallet on git is for Windows. I click on links but there is no download. get message saying file too big.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink
