I support the red half of Merseyside but even I find it hard to stomach how badly Everton fared last night. Managerless for a month, fielding a team I barely recognised, and equalling the worst away defeat an English team has ever had to suffer abroad - to Atalanta. I never thought I'd say this but I felt so bad for Rooney and co. As a Liverpool supporter, it's really difficult to NOT enjoy Everton's misfortunes but phew...

Dark days for the Blues. Unsworth really needs to figure this out quickly. Rooney really needs to turn the heat on, kick a few hairdryers around, transfer some of that fire he surely must have felt at Old Trafford.

 It was a bad night, really a frustrating night for Arsenal. Master the game, attack, but lose. But Arsenal are still reasonable because they are away, not like Everton, play at home, against Atalanta and in 1-5. It was a bad European Night for both teams. The England team were heavily injured in Europa League this week.

Everton definitely needs a new coach and Arsenal should hold on to its players. The matches are really heating up now.

I couldnt agree more with this, they are one of the best candidate to proceed for the next stage. They play so well in the league and they could have an easy win. It just seems to me that mourinho is losing his charm, any team that he coach nowadays isnt that brutal compared to few years ago when he was still coaching chelsea and real madrid

Arsenal should also forget their chances of playing in the Champions League if they have decided to use the Europa League route as Manchester United did some time ago because it's not going to happen at all especially when the likes of Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are going to be playing there soon. If they can't beat a lowly Koln how can they beat these teams.

Nobody is sharing tips for European League?
I don't bet serious money on this competition but I like following 2 tips for today.

Aek to win over Rijeka @1.85. The Greeks are playing better and better while Rijeka is currently in downward spiral. Furthermore, Heber only decent attacker recently is not playing today for Rijeka.

Lazio vs Vittese over 2.5. I see this as high scoring game. I believe both teams will play without first keepers and use mixed squads.

And that is way I don't bet serious money on Europa League. I take my hat off for anyone who can consistently make money on this competition. I'll stick to Champions league only in the future.

English clubs are too busy schedule. And not all players because of this schedule are able to constantly show a good, high-quality game. But still, the British teams are very strong.

England teams are performing really good compared to other leagues, we have won good amount of league cups. I am not a Manchester City fan but they top contender to win it, they have the meanest team, doesn't stop only attacks scores goal in 90th minutes and they are exceptionally strong, I would not be surprised if they win at the end it will be either premier league or champion league or they'll end up winning both

Nah, don't think Man City is a 'top contender' for the CL.  The top contenders are Real Madrid, Barca and Bayern...  You know...  the usual.  Lol.  

But City has 'upgraded' itself into a dark horse for the tourney, now with the likes of Juve, Atletico, Dortmund and a couple others.

And I guess we're seeing all 5 EPL clubs in the KO stages?  Nice.

They all started off strong, but most of the top clubs have had a bit of a wobble since then in the domestic league. City is holding on strong at top, but even they only just won the other night. Hardly decisive.

With the way they are playing, i believe Manchester City and PSG are strong contenders to win the Champions League this season and I don't think it's not a good idea to really underestimate the rest of the opponents as well.

But there are some high caliber matches like Bayern against PSG. Which would be in my opinion the match of the evening that carries the taste of a semi final and the spirit of a friendly match, by bringing to bayern a chance to revenge the precedent match !

This is without doubt the most entertaining match of the Champions League this week and its made more interesting due to the way that PSG humiliated and severely beat Bayern Munich in their first game, Its either going to be a revenge or a repeat of what happened some time ago.

Because Juventus a few weeks back has re-discovered the best performance of his game and when they managed to beat Napoli in Serie a few days ago into their own momentum and motivation to compete in the Champions League. I can not wait for the match between Olympiacos against Juventus later. I'm sure Juventus will be able to steal points at home to Olympiacos later.

Without a doubt the game between PSG and Bayern Munich would be far more interesting than the Juventus game and mind you that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are going to play as well, Chelsea would have to win to cement top spot on the table and Atletico Madrid should also have to win and pray that Roma loses if they have any chance of qualifying to the next round.

Yeah it comes around quick, I'm with you on both teams to score in the Chelsea game. I actually think that is one of the safest bets out of all the matches played on the night. Man Utd should win easily so I'm going with over 2.5 goals and the same in the Olympiakos Piraeus V Juventus match.
