Well, I was slightly disappointed by the scoreless draw at Anfield. Can't remember the last time we played the first half without forcing a save or block on target. I know, we should be celebrating our first QF appearance at Champions League since 2009... man that does feel good. But perhaps it's good to see Klopp finally do the rational thing by resting the key players for good old Mourinho.

Tonight, I just have one bet: I'll back the Old Lady to win the game tonight... but the ML odds @2.48 are not as good as backing them to progress @2.95! So here's Higuain for a solitary goal before they shut the game out!

Yeah it was a boring game but the job was done in the 1st leg, you could tell the normal intensity wasn’t there to press their defenders high up the pitch. At least Mo & Van Dijk will be fresh for the Man Utd game. Firmino only llayed an hour too.

I hope you’re right & Juve go through tonight, I don’t fear Spurs as a potential 1/4 final opponent but I’d rather play Juventus than Spurs.

Yes, the match between Liverpool against FC Porto is a boring game. That's because the aggregate in the first leg was so wide. And regarding the match tonight between Tottenham against Juventus I think and I hope it will be more interesting. I prefer to wait until the first half finish to start making a decision on what event I will bet on.

Superb game from Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo as well who upon everything managed to secure a goal of his own for Real Madrid, it seems PSG are going to have to go to the drawing board and prepare for next season.

Even though Real Madrid is already been eliminated in the Copa Del Rey, and have a big points gap in the La Liga. We can't deny Real Madrid is still a strong team in Europe. The teams could have a strong positive mental boost because UEFA championship is the only championship that Madrid could bring it back to home.

If Real Madrid see the chance to chase Barcelona at the top of league still reasonable , they would do fight for both champions league and la Liga. But then when things went wrong like they lose another important points they would rest key players for champions league and the odds for Real Madrid to win CL itself getting lower now.

Cr7 confirms to be the most decisive player in the champion's league (he has scored at least 1 goal in the last 9 matches played in the champion's).

To be fair, Liverpool's defense isn't that great (most goals conceded in the EPL top 6). And I don't know if Juventus would struggle against those three, they're used to face world class players in the Champions League (they've reached 2 finals over the last 3 years)...I guess I value experience over current form.

Also, I don't think Jurgen Klopp wants to face Juventus again, last time he did was back in the 14/15 CL when he was still in Germany, Borussia Dortmund were knocked out of the CL by Juve with a 5-1 aggregate score...the nightmares.

I was having a conversation with a friend after PSG lost and he asked me what are they going to do now, Are they going to buy even more players next season or what because despite everything, buying players are not really working out for them at all.

Juventus  has to score, so I think there will be some aggression to win the game. Experience may bring good results, but Tottenham also has a fair chance, as the way they played the previous game, its was quite good. But I think Juventus will be qualifying, they has a fair chance, now its upto them. I don't think it can be a draw with no scores, we will for sure see some scores.

Tottenham is quite unfortunate to be beat by Juventus in their own back yard after playing so well but the old lady had to keep their unbeaten run in 20 games going and we saw the fighting spirit they showed and playing our from home is a big ask. Congrants Juv Italian.

The two end result are the same in two different matches, but different final story. Manchester City 1-2 FC Basel and Totteham Hotspurs 1-2 Juventus. Manchester City still qualify for the next round despite losing as they excel very aggregate away, while the spurs must be willing to stop because they lost 2-3 on aggregate Juventus. No surprising results, both are the favored team to qualify.

That was a great football match, and to the surprise of no one, Juventus advances to the next round. The big difference were the subs, Allegri realizes (after 60min and 1 goal down) that the 3 cb plan wasn't working, Lichtsteiner (game changer) and Asamoah came in and the whole tactical plan took a 180° turn for the better. Higuain scored, games is 1-1 and anxiety kicked in, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies made some horrendous amateur mistakes, and the experience of Higuan/Dybala took advantage of it. Game was 1-2 but, knowing how the italians (specially Juventus) defend to get the result they need, we all knew it was over for Tottenham.

Spurs played really good today, however, it takes a little more than that to get a good result in these kind of decisive CL matches, specially against a top club. And I'm having a hard time deciding whether Son was the MVP or Chiellini.

Tottenham just missed their chance of progressing to the quarterfinals and thought they played extremely well in the first half of the game, they were complacent and I don’t feel sorry for the them because they have been eliminated.

I enjoyed watching Tottenham vs Juventus match, it was fantastic. Tottenham played great, but I think that referee had to give penalty after Vertonghen tackle. Juve was in difficult situation, but then they scored 2 goals in 3 minutes after mistakes of Tottenham defenders. On last minutes Tottenham was close to score 2nd goal, but they didn't managed to do that. Well, despite that Tottenham playing nice football, they still can't win most important matches. I'm happy for Buffon, hope to win first Champions league trophys is still alive.
