It was very interesting match between Roma and Shakhtar. Both teams didn't had many moments to score, but Shakhtar defenders made mistake by giving to much freedom to Dzeko and he scored. After that Shakhtar had serious problems to pass effective pressing of Roma. Well, you can't score a goal when you make 0 shots on target. And there was disagraceful accident in this match - Ferreyra pushed a ball boy over the advertising boards and looks that he was injured. It looks that Ferreyra will get serious penalty after game.
AndI remember many people saying that we may see 5 EPL clubs in UCL quarterfinal, but now it's most likely that we will see only Man City and Liverpool. Can't say that I surprised. Well, it's still better achievement than we saw in recent seasons.

Interesting, but I think a little bit dull. We knew Roma only needed to score one goal and then defend their away goals, but I guess there isn't much to expect from an Italian team leading 1-0 at home! But like you said, Shakhtar strikers couldn't even manage one shot on goal, either way, we have yet another underdog in the quarterfinals of Champions League. Ferreyra should be punished 100%. Don't care if ballboy injured or not. You NEVER act out as a professional, especially on fans. You should expect the home team to help waste time.

Of course everyone was saying 5 England teams could play. That was a possibility. And we can still have 3... Chelsea could pull out magic and they have the edge!

Well deserved win Sevilla. I hope this will teach Mourinho to try playing some games not just defending and waiting for opponent errors. Didn't watch the whole game yesterday but Sevilla more than deserved a goal in the first match and I am glad that they managed to score 2 yesterday.

Can't wait for Barca - Chelsea game tonight. I think this one will be a Barca win but taking a bet @1.45 is not for me. There is simply no value in it. The bookies really started to give unrealistic odds for favorites. For me this should have been set @ 1.6 or 1.7 for Barca win.

Nah, Mourinho needs more than a knockout in Champs League to 'learn his lesson'. Not when he keeps achieving success with... Liverpool, for example. To be perfectly fair to him and United, it wasn't as if they parked the bus last night. Lukaku was strangely very good with his passing, and that goal haha. Sevilla weren't particularly fantastic either, but they certainly showed why Spain can't be overlooked. Depending on the outcome of tonight's Chelsea-Barcelona game, either England or Spain will have 3 representatives in the last 8. Mouthwatering? You bet!

Anyway, Champs League football giving me a lot of joy. Nice @3 Sevilla progress and @1.9 Roma progress wins. For tonight, Chelsea has the away goal edge but Barca's got to score. Chelsea fans will like the odds to progress @4! But I'll take the Bayern Besiktas match Under 3.5 goals @1.8. They're already 5 goals up so will probably relax.

Betting on them does not mean they are fans of the team. I'm a fan of MU but I did not even make a bet for them to win the match lol, because looking at what they did on the first match and what they they did when against Liverpool (although they won it) but I did not see something special since Mourinho become the manager.
The result obviously a fault by the whole team and the manager. Players did not play on their best form, strategy did not work but Mou did not do something great to make a better chance to win. He knows that they should win the match to qualify, but the strategy was not showing that they want to win the match.

When the camera zoomed in on Mou's face after the second goal, I couldn't help but feel so sorry for him.  You could see despite the tough exterior that he was hurting inside.

It wasn't a bad luck for this bet on Manchester United , it was only because of the stupid tactics from Mourinio , he show us tonight that he became the stupid one not the special one , Seville deserved to win this game because they came to old Trafford to try to score and try to win and they bravely succeed to achieve their mission . In the other side Manchester players refused to play till they had to face Seville goal , it was an unforgivable mistake from mourinio trying to play defense and they deserved to leave the competition at this stage with shame .

I totally agree with you about the odd for Barcelona win , too risky to bet on barca win with this small odd , I watched the first game at Stanford bridge and I can say that Chelsea was unlucky on that game , they was very strong defensively and very dangerous in fast break and even Barcelona goal was after a stupid mistake of Chelsea defender , I still believe the blues could come back to London with the qualification if they play with the same tactics of the first meeting and maybe I will put a small bet on Chelsea qualification . By the way if they score it could go to overtime .

The odd 1.44 for Barca is a bit defying for me. Usually this encounter has always had unpredictable result in the end, for example when Barcelona was in the best of their form just a few years ago they were stopped here at Camp Nou exactly from Chelsea in a 1-1 game. My bet for the night is

Chelsea were expected to be easy opponents for Barcelona, but they seem to be giving in without a fight. Barcelona are taking advantage of Chelsea's mistakes and are toying with them. Messi has scored once in each half and even Dembele has scored one. Chelsea had their chances, but were sloppy and failed to convert any of them. The score is 3-0 and Barcelona aren't done yet.

Man, Chelsea played really well today (except for Fabregas, poor performance), the 4-1 aggregate score does not reflect how good they actually were in both games. A few crucial mistakes, some bad luck (hitting the crossbar a bunch of times), and Messi, were key factors in both games.

Looking forward to the quarter finals, hopefully we'll see Sevilla vs Roma so that the big teams (and Man City) can play against each other.
