Used for < 3 months

Buy right now at 100BTC, otherwise make your offer

Video: http://youtu.be/UFavfk16wz4
Better temps & more shares:  http://youtu.be/SFv1G5O6Of0

3x5970's total consumption 880 watts producing 2.1Ghash/s (overclockable to 2.2G/hash or more)
[yes one is setting on top, helps the heat dissipation instead of being stuck in between the other two)

This is also a GREAT litecoin miner, should be able to get 2.2Mhash/s utilizing the fastest card for litecoin mining, only other would be the new 7990 at $1,000
you'd just want to get more RAM to litecoin mine

1200W PSU 80 PLUS GOLD rated
http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Silent-Modular-Supply/dp/B003O8J11Y/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1347692907&sr=1-2&keywords=1200w+psu

fairly new Asus P8BWS C206 board with 4x 16x PCie2 slots and (1) 1x slot so potentially 5 cards can be run on this board but haven't tested that
http://www.amazon.com/P8B-WS-Server-Workstation-Motherboard/dp/B004U5V7LM/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1347692947&sr=1-1&keywords=c206

2x1GB ram
http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-CT2KIT12864BA1339-240-pin-PC3-10600-Memory/dp/B001R4BT2G/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1341820269&sr=1-1&keywords=CT2KIT12864BA1339

G530 dual core intel cpu

also on test bench: http://www.amazon.com/MYOPENPC-Transparent-Computer-Mainboards-compatible/dp/B003CTR3ME/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1341821237&sr=1-1&keywords=test+bench

60GB OCZ SSD with windows 7 (no serial)

DVD Burner

I'll throw in any 16x PCIe extenders or 1x->16x PCIe adapters that you like

my electricity is around $0.10/kWh, if yours is really high I'd consider selling and hosting it to mine for you

Now willing to accept offers on parts

75 bucks. Plain and simple it is half as good at mining as a jalapeno.

80 bux...thats shipped right?

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.

Ok fine I'll go 45+shipping. PS might be a good idea to show your rig in a video with more than 45 or so accepted shares lol.

$150! I will value it at the same price as a Jalapeno, but just for sentimental reasons.  Grin

You guys are asses. Jalapeno can only bitcoin mine, -nothing- else, and they aren't even available to the public yet. GPU's, motherboards, cpus, etc, have MUCH BROADER use.

Quit with the retard lowballs and make some realistic offers instead of clogging this thread with your "jokes".

The OP's GPU hardware is 2 generations back already and the 7xxx series is more than half way through its product cycle now.  With the advent of ASIC they will be scooping 5xxx cards on to China bound scrap ships with front end loaders by the metric ton.

Nice PSU though.  But you know what?  I only need one gaming rig.

Yes, the hardware is a few years old, but that doesn't diminish it's value. These 5970s are still going for decent money on ebay, and that PSU is worth more than some of these offers.

Buying these for mining would be a bad idea, imo, but these are still worth $800 regardless.

Litecoin mining is fixing to go into full affect. You watch those 5xxx cards start catching premiums over the next few months. Not just on ebay, but here as well. Just sayin'

And you watch while the difficulty skyrockets, while the price remains the same.

The same could have been said about bitcoin for the about the first half of it's existence Wink

How well does something that doesn't exist mine I wonder?  While I definitely agree that the jury is still out on new technology, a bird in the hand is still making you more money than two with an unexpected delivery date that *might* not exist at all.

This is a good looking build, that said, I could not afford the package deal.  What are you selling individual cards for?

looking at least $250 USD equivalent right now to consider the offer (i take silver/btc or usd, just would need the funds first)

but i'm waiting on a pending offer for the whole rig which I like more

EDIT: Currently two offers on the rig kind of close to my asking price, but not 100BTC

I've seen a lot of people mining LTC. I'm not a huge fan of them, but I have a serious question: why? All of my research show that mining LTC is less profitable than mining BTC, both due to higher power usage (higher RAM speeds), and not being worth as much.

I calculated this rig would make either .6BTC/day or .9BTC/day if you mined litecoins and convered to btc at current exchange rate on btc-e.com

Hey crazyates I think a lot of people are mining litecoions and then holding.  I am probably going to do this myself.  I read somewhere? Recently that litecoions are more profitable but not cant fine where that was.
