Depending on what part of the world you are in, you can also try and use quickbtc for buying bitcoin . Not sure if they accept prepaid(gift) cards though. Or you could just trade your card for buying something for bitcoin for users on the forum.

Circle accepts cards, but not sure if they would accept the prepaid cards either.
