I had sent 26 grams of 14k gold scrap Jewelry to Cashforgoldusa....Dot Com  ( I didn't want to put the link to the site on here) Anyways   26 Grams of gold which is almost an Ounce.....14K gold is almost 54% solid gold so even at 54% X current price of gold about $1200 = about $600

so today i get the check in the mail...Open it up........$48.26!   What the holy fuck is this?!?!? I Emailed those Cocksuckers 10 seconds after i opened the check.

According to their Website if you're not happy with the payment return the check within 14 days and they will ship your gold back to you free of charge. I opened the check at 1:52 P.M. and it was in the mail back to them at 2:00 P.M.  I will update what happens.  These fuckers are located in Sharon Massachusetts just a Drive from me in the same State......If they Don't send my Gold back i guess i'll be going to Sharon for a Visit.

Never Ever use an online site claiming they buy Gold and Silver......I thought these Local guys were Bad Holy Shit! this website makes the local guys look Great!

Sites like that often pay very low rates for gold, it's worth your while travelling around and finding a decent jewelers so you can sell stuff in person. Fingers crossed you'll get your gold back.

Even in person these gold buyers will try to hustle you. Took a once to a local guy and he tried to tell me it was worth 15% less due to him having to melt it down. Because of that he would have to give me scrap price. This was a piece that was actually a collectors piece.
I smiled and played along and told him I would sleep on it.

You're lucky you wern't straight up scammed. Just find a trustworthy local dealer and only sell for a price you're happy with, though like above many will try lowball you so be weary of that.

Online sites undervalue items greatly and try to get an unrealistic low price, some local traders are bad but you at least hear the offer from the beginning and you can simply go to another shop not like this anyway.

lol just received this Email from them....Seems they want me to Pay $20 for insurance now to mail the items back to me to Ensure i receive them.......Sounds really fishy to me as though i won't receive the items unless i pay the $20   Talk about Extortion. This Company is an absolute Scam.

I would not even use (supposed reputable websites)

Take it in person to your local scrap gold dealers, three I went to, got the prices, then thought about it.

Went back to the highest priced one, and told them one of the others had offered me a better price (can you go a little higher) and I will recommend you to others, he went higher, I walked out with a great deal.

So after 3 days of playing Email tag with these Scumbags they gave me a Tracking number yesterday for my Gold items being returned to me and as of right now the tracking number is still dead.  I'm sure they have melted my gold down and are using stall tactics.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and my next step is filing charges Tomorrow if i don't get an active tracking number from them. They owe me almost an ounce of gold or the equivalent in cash.

Finally got my gold back from these thieves.   Imagine that $4 per gram of gold  that's= to about $120 per ounce lol thieving fucks.
