I feel really bad for the people that spend money on lotto tickets every day thinking they'll win millions. At least most state lotteries fund schools and other things.

How are you going to ruins someone lifes? You do gamble on your conciousness not people asking to gamble so it is your responsibilities not other people, so you wont ruin their lifes except you keep using their money to gamble that is different problem

Then there are a category of peoples who have the money of dad an mummy which don't know how and where to spend. Yeah, same question. How can you ruin someone's life if you are gambling ? its you - who is  loosing the money and valuable time so its your lost not of others.
But its true that gambling can destroy the life of people if they are addicted towards it, don't have their own control and they are loosing their hard earned money. Gambling is good if you are just playing for fun.

Maybe banish not but make difficult to join those yes. Very hard rules must be placed to play with those and not everyone can join all the games. For example young people must be avoid to join. Those are not matured to understand that this kind of entertainment is for fun and not for earn.
