hi, does anyone know if there is any company selling asic in Europe?

It seems that every business is located in the US... The problem is that taxes for importing products from US is very high. I think china is cheaper so it could be an alternative... But I can't find any sellers there also.

Thanks Smiley

You pay the import taxes to your state, it dosent change if the thing comes from Russia china or the states, it's always the 20%.

If it's a EU supplier no import taxes are due in the UK.

Thats not exactly like that, I will pay around 35% if it's coming from US. Don't pay anything if it comes from another European country and if it's from china... Well, usually  don't pay anything, but it's a mater of luck Wink even if I had to pay anything it will be a lot less then from US.

An eu suppliers has to pay taxes on his imports outside the Europe.
Either way, you pay taxes on imports. It dosent matter if its another one paying them for you and charging you an extra.

You pay the same rate from USA and china. If the good sent from china are with a fake invoice that allows you not to pay the import taxes (that are not at 35%, what state are you from?), you are commuting a crime.

Import tax is the same percentage as VAT on local and EU goods in the Netherlands. And there's a standard custom declaration fee per sending. Isn't that the same in the UK?

hahahah, no! I'm not a criminal Wink

I live in Portugal and the taxe rate for importing products from US is 35% (more or less)...

Recently my father bought some clothing from the US, something that cost him around 30 euros after taxes and the costs from the border cost him near 100 Euros. That's a lot!!! Way more then 35% so I'm very reluctant in importing anything from US.

Some time ago I bought photographic material from China and didn't had to pay anything. Maybe it was because they send it has a gift...

My plan is to declare the value of goods in bitcoins and let the customs officer get confused and angry as a revenge for import tax Cheesy
Hell, I hate those people. They just sitting there, collecting money, and get salary from my income taxes every month...

Most probably, yes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union_value_added_tax

As you can see you pay 23% in VAT; not 35%. There might be some clearance taxes too.
