Really? If I were Valverde I'd be worried. Yet another game with a poor display of football, even Pique said in the post-match interview that the only good thing today was the win, meaning that even the players know that they need to step up their game. I thought Barcelona was going to have an easy time with Lyon in the Champions League, but looks to me like that won't be the case. They played poorly that's for sure. However, in the European matches and especially when these are in the Champions League Knockouts, the players change attitude immediately. Barca will not have so many problems in the win-lose games against Lyon. Also, Lyon is not the team that it used to be. There not so many strong players in the club anymore. |

But in past few matches not just in this league but in top 5 in europe so many matches end up with favorite losing or plating draw. Never the less win is win no matter how big or small results is. |

time 86 min and still 1-0 score in barcelona game, you can go with over 1.5 goal as one goal can be expected, go with barcelona 2-0 which is risky bet.
Man Messi missed the penalty. What is wrong with him? I was very close. I think Messi needs a break. He needs to consider someone else to shot for penalties. Including this he missed a good number of penalties. Edit: Good to see that finally Barcelona won however it should not be too hard for them. Valladolid Played well in this match. Messi missed the plenty is not something to worry about as no one can score all the plenty and sometimes luck does not favor. Still i will prefer that he is one of the best plenty converters. |

It looks like Barcelona will win the match tonight, in the first half they were ahead with a score of 1-0 and I think there is still a chance to benefit from the bets I put on the draw in the Barcelona match tonight.
What triggered you to predict a draw match? Anyway, Valladolid is doing well. Around 70 minutes of the match and still 1 - 0. You may win the bet but highly risky 🙂 I am expecting another goal from Barcelona. It could have been 2 - 0, Messi couldn't convert the second spot kick, I think Barcelona are a bit, if not totally off rhythm. Their struggle is becoming evident, They'd not want to go back into the UCL with such a poor performance. |

Well it does not look good to see a player like Messi miss penalty. This shot was predictable. Like the other user explained he always was shooting into the right side. I love taking underdog bets but Girona's poor form is so much in contrast with Real's improving form, so I ended up not taking the bet. Wonder if it was even 60/1 after Real took the lead. Ramos getting red card in 2 consecutive games, and what were we saying about him just several games ago that he's mellowed? |

Sad for Ramos to be getting a 2nd yellow for that, he was legitimately trying to score but it was just a bit too dangerous with a couple of defenders surrounding him. and the ball at head height. |

And we're back to being shit. We lost against a team that won their last league game in December and were 17th in the league table, just dissapointing. Great first half, then an absolutely dreadful performance in the 2nd half, reminds me of Solari's early days with the team. Also, I don't know why Solari decided to rotate the team, Barcelona and Atletico won their games, match today was a must win to keep pressuring Barcelona, we should've used the main squad in the starting XI. Now we're back to 3rd place and 9 pts behind Barcelona, I honestly think we're out of the title race now, maybe we can win against Barca, that would mean we'd be 6 pts behind them, but I don't see Barcelona losing 2 more games. |

With Real Madrid losing earlier today, Sevilla was also on the receiving end today as they've lost 3 - 0 away to Villarreal who are now just one point from the relegation zone. The battle for the 4th position is now getting more interesting with just 5 points separating 4th placed Sevilla from 9th placed Real Betis.

The battle for the 4th position is now getting more interesting with just 5 points separating 4th placed Sevilla from 9th placed Real Betis.
Damn it, I regret that I turned off Real - Girona match after first half... I watched match Villarreal vs Sevilla and it was strange to see such easy victory of league bottom team. Indeed, fight for 4th place will be hot. For me it's biggest surprise to see Getafe in high 5th place. Sociedad also haven't lost in 2019. Betis and Valencia improving their results, while Alaves and Sevilla have bad run. |

Alaves have been my greatest surprise in the league this year, their recent run poor form could however see them lose out on playing in Europe next season they were also held to a 1 - 1 draw against Real Betis tonight, I think that's a fair result because they had to come from behind. Getafe have been impressive as well, along with Alaves, they both had tremendous half season and if that's anything to go by, either of them deserve a spot in at least Europa league next season. |

I mean, Girona beating Real was enough of an upset, but to have relegation zone Villareal smack Sevilla properly? I know the latter are always going to focus on Europa League and good for them too, alternative income stream as long as they keep doing well, plus qualification in CL, but with Real so toughly lodged, I thought Sevilla would give a good run. Guess I was wrong. Very strange day for me. |

It looks like the road for Real Madrid can reduce points with Barcelona getting heavier, especially on the night they suffered a defeat while Barcelona can win the match with a thin score. Real Madrid's defeat last night made them have to be displaced from second place in the standings.

This means that something is going wrong with the European football and big transfers and popular players are gathered to one team in every national league.
Yes, it shows there's not much competition between even the big teams this season, and there is a high level of underperforming big teams who used to be much more competitive in previous seasons, Barcelona as at 24 matches last season were still unbeaten but league wasn't considered to be over, also imagine teams which used to compete for the top six spot in the league now struggling not to relegated. |

It's a shame for RMA they lost first time against Girona at home.By this now RMA is 9 points behind Barcelona.I think first half was OK for RMA but in second half Girona was phenomenal and took the game from RMA.I think LaLiga hope is over for RMA.

Getafe just can't seem to stop with their high flying season, And could be playing be in UCL come next season, that'd be very surprising anyway. A 2 -1 home win over Rayo Vallecano has brought them to the fourth position, 2 points ahead of Sevilla who faces Barcelona in about an hour.
I think it will be a difficult match for both Sevilla and Barcelona, Barcelona aren't anywhere their usual best, and will also be having an eye on their Copa Del Rey 2nd leg semi final match against Real Madrid.

I think Barcelona is going to win despite whatever issue they have. It's really hard to take away points from Barcelona for any team. Good win for Getafe which bought them into the forth position although they have played one more match than Sevilla.. |
