Usual struggle to 3 in  Liga. I think that the injury of Iniesta is likely to affect it and can therefore favored Real Madrid

gap points between Barcelona and Real Madrid is not too high that's why both teams still the most candidate as usual and every season the odds for them will not so different but i was wondering that why the odds Real Madrid more high rather than Barcelona although they in the first rank currently

but atletico madrid always better in number of goals conceded every season , so far they conceded 8 goals only. this means once barcelona or real madrid get slipped and atletico madrid leading on top of table high possibility atletico madrid will defend it till the end , so i believe atletico madrid still have a high chance to win la liga .

i think the reason why Barcelona odds are lower evenwhen Real Madrid is Leading because real madrid will be facing a series of difficult games like Atletico Madrid Barcelona Valencia too can be a pain and Sevilla with those teams it's expected from Madrid to drop some points and that can make Barcelona take the lead and if Atletico won over RM the next match they will get back to the competition

Real Madrid look of the game is a hit lately, I think not a difficult to Real Madrid could defend his position now, Barcelona is indeed wanted his position back at the top, but perhaps Real Madrid will not give it to them voluntarily.

Not sure why, but Atletico always get a great goalkeeper when the old one moved. They had Gregory Coupet, Christian Abbiati, David De Gea, Thibaut Courtois, and now Jan Oblak. Their chance to win La Liga is pretty high, but surely I dont want it to be happened lol.

Yes so could Real Madrid maintained its position in La Liga. But Real Madrid is not easy to maintain, because there are still Barcelona. If Real Madrid amid road tripping and made some mistakes and lose points it will increase the chances of Barcelona to capture it. But I'm sure Real Madrid will be able to maintain it properly.

All they need to do is to keep on winning, the problem is that whenever they play with their reserve team it is always hard for them to win. I can totally get this as the squad usually consist of their superstar player however zidane cant afford to use their superstar everytime because of their tight schedule

Imo, the biggest problem is their defense, not midfield, which Rakitic and Sergio Busquets doing good job so far. I dont think duet Mascherano - Umtiti is good, they often did mistakes. Also, since Dani Alves leaved, no one who could be a right full back as good as him.

Actually they are not bad however when the rest of player performed quite good then of course the only one that performed decent will then be judged as performing badly. Actually they are quite bad in overall vibes of the team so it is normal for most people to say that they should get better goalkeeper

Valdes is a somewhat a good  Goalkeeper also he had a very good defence in front of him that helped him a lot because Valdes statistics and records  shows that he is the best goalkeeper that Barcelona had in all times so if bacelona needs to improve their defence they needs to bring good defenders to cover the homes they have.

I even think that Claudio Bravo and Ter Stegen are better than Valdes. I dont know where you got that fact, but iirc the best goalkeeper of Barcelona is Zubizarreta. Well yeah, Barca havent signed any great center back so far, like Mathieu, Vermaelen, even Umtiti. So, when Pique is injured, no one could replace him.

the current goalkeeper do several mistakes which makes Barcelona a few times did not win so this is could be the primary problem for Barcelona because for pursuing Real madrid they must keeping to always win and also must have the goalkeeper with stable performance

Valdes was a decent goalkeeper for Barca but like you said he had Puyol & Pique in their peak in front of him, Dani Alves & Abidal too.

Valdes made a number of individual errors but they usually didn't matter because Barca score so many. Valdes was good at his best but never world class.

Im quite sure that atletico madrid will win this match, as of this moment two of their defenders wont be available for the match. Without pepe and ramos as their defenders things will be unexpected and in home game atletico is definitely a tough team to beat, even barcelona lose to them few times last season
