Reading the posts before the Villareal vs. Atletico started. Many of us have lost our bets. I followed the bets of many of the people here who are behind Atletico because they are viewed as the better team. We have not analyzed that Atletico is weaker this year and Villareal a little stronger. They are also very close in the table before this game with Atletico only leading by 2 points.

If I knew that Villareal was the top defensive team then I would of changed my mind about betting on Atl. Madrid to win this thing. Because as of right now with only allowing 10 goals all season before this match even started and playing at home on top of that would of had me change my mind and pick them to win it instead.

That wouldnt really means you wont be putting atletico madrid to win the game, it is indeed quite an easy pick for most people and needless to say that atletico madrid should have win the game even with just 1 goal. You can see that villareal is not really just great in defence , they are great in offence as well which makes things harder for atletico

Once you know how then it is easy to deal with them indeed however atletico madrid should have lost with 3 goals. Fernando Torres already returned to the squad a week ago in UCL, since Diego Simeone prefer Kevin Gameiro to partner Griezmann, so even if he fully recover, I don't think he will have much chance. You're right, they need someone taller like Torres. When the ball come from set piece, then Torres's height can does a damage, a header for example.

Surely not my friend ! How can you talk about bad results after being finalist of Champions League last year ? Also, its team finished at the firdst place of its group for that edition. United is in the same position than Atletico and that's not a crisis. If Simeone finishes on the podium and is at least demi-finalist of Champions League he will be assured to stay.

Well we can't be conclusive yet but the signs are written on the wall and his current streak of results might raise some red flags too. I genuinely wish he stays because Atletico is naturally his team and I don't know if he will be allowed to operate just the same way in a bigger club as at Atletico Madrid.

Simeone is already extended his contract with Atletico Madrid until 2020, but he cut the duration of his contract until 2018. Maybe he'll move to Inter Milan in 2018 when his contract was over. I'm sure after train Atletico Madrid Simeone will coach Inter Milan because I think it has become the desire of magnitude. He intends to make Inter Milan to become champion and I think probably in 2018 Simeone will completely move to Inter Milan.
