You kinda seems to confuse yourself in the last part of your post, it should be choosing deportivo rather than real sociedad instead. If you watch through the match you can see how deportivo was dominating the game and with just some luck they managed to turn all that attempts into goals and won the game

Glad I did not bet on this game because if I listened to all who said the favorite was going to win I would be on the losing end as well.

no i don't, if you take a look to la liga table real sociedad in top 5 and can move up to 4th place if they can beat deportivo la coruna yesterday , unfortunately real sociedad play awfully lost with very high score 5-1.

so i clearly bet for real sociedad to get at least a draw as they are in better situation (in 4th place of league table) where deportivo struggling to avoid relegated.

And i am glad Messi and Ronaldo are playing brilliant football and there is a stiff competition between both teams as well as the individual players as to who the best in the world. Well in fact, there is no guarantee a great player will become a great coach too. No matter how great the players when they are playing on the pitch, becoming a coach will always be different thing. E.g. Maradona, he is one of the best players all the time, but he is not a great coach.

Falconer is right. It really depends on the person if he has the right acumen to be a coach and a manager. Some players are really good but may have a slow head for managing players. A manager must also be a person who can motivate his players and take good care of them at the same time and be careful not to push too hard. With that said I could see Cristiano as a coach one day.
